Let us all do continuous namajapam as the japa alone is capable of fulfilling all our needs. That fulfillment means happiness and peace in ourlives which encompasses every other thing in the world. Some people could question that they are wealthy but that wealth is not permanent. Evenif the wealth does not subside, then the body disintegrates without our knowledge and the youth is being lost. Although they are aware of theaging process, humans are not ready to accept and realize this. Young people, in their teens, look at aged people and comment on theirsagging skin but not do they realize that years down the line they in turn will undergo the same aging process and creates unnecessary pride inthe mind of youngsters. This pride is not required and is solely due to the ignorance of the people who are present in their youth. Each passingday adds up to the age of the person and is not being realized.

Humans have lot of pride about their knowledge and boast of all their vast knowledge. However wealthy a person is, he is still dependent on a farmer to harvest and produce the rice grains and is dependent on a person to cook the food before it can be consumed. The funniest thing in the world is that people without knowing anything are ready to proclaim that they know everything. The funniest thing is that people don't realize that aging process will catch up with them despite having grand parents living along with them. Nothing in the world is permanent and is subject to destruction and change. But bhakthi alone is not subject to these changes in time and will be there for ever.

Why bhakthi? It is just for our own sake to lead a happy life that bhakthi is required. It does not come naturally to everyone because the elders don't teach the young children about its importance. But they are quick at teaching our rituals and customs. It is not the fault of the elders because they themselves have not been taught a course on bhakthi when they were young. This is the reason Aacharyas (guru) were established to ensure that their disciples' aathamas are taken care of. These days it is not being done and no one ever instructs their young disciples at home or elsewhere to do namajapam. This is not leading to aathma being freed up and this does not mean death by giving up the body. Freedom means living in this planet and not being upset by any of its events and this is true freedom. A true guru has to teach his/her disciples the way to live with such freedom and this being absent has resulted in the lack of bhakthi that is prevalent now.
