Let us all do continuous namajapam as the japa alone is capable of fulfilling all our needs. That fulfillment means happiness and peace in ourlives which encompasses every other thing in the world. Some people could question that they are wealthy but that wealth is not permanent. Evenif the wealth does not subside, then the body disintegrates without our knowledge and the youth is being lost. Although they are aware of theaging process, humans are not ready to accept and realize this. Young people, in their teens, look at aged people and comment on theirsagging skin but not do they realize that years down the line they in turn will undergo the same aging process and creates unnecessary pride inthe mind of youngsters. This pride is not required and is solely due to the ignorance of the people who are present in their youth. Each passingday adds up to the age of the person and is not being realized.

Humans have lot of pride about their knowledge and boast of all their vast knowledge. However wealthy a person is, he is still dependent on a farmer to harvest and produce the rice grains and is dependent on a person to cook the food before it can be consumed. The funniest thing in the world is that people without knowing anything are ready to proclaim that they know everything. The funniest thing is that people don't realize that aging process will catch up with them despite having grand parents living along with them. Nothing in the world is permanent and is subject to destruction and change. But bhakthi alone is not subject to these changes in time and will be there for ever.

Why bhakthi? It is just for our own sake to lead a happy life that bhakthi is required. It does not come naturally to everyone because the elders don't teach the young children about its importance. But they are quick at teaching our rituals and customs. It is not the fault of the elders because they themselves have not been taught a course on bhakthi when they were young. This is the reason Aacharyas (guru) were established to ensure that their disciples' aathamas are taken care of. These days it is not being done and no one ever instructs their young disciples at home or elsewhere to do namajapam. This is not leading to aathma being freed up and this does not mean death by giving up the body. Freedom means living in this planet and not being upset by any of its events and this is true freedom. A true guru has to teach his/her disciples the way to live with such freedom and this being absent has resulted in the lack of bhakthi that is prevalent now.

RadheKrishna... Let us all do continuous namajapam. All secrets and meanings surely  lies hidden in the nama(Name of the Lord). The only way to realize and see the Lord is through namajapam alone. In order to lead a happy life at any stage in life, namjapam is the only way out for it as well. Please treasure this namajpam above everything else and you will realize the truth. Let us all continue to chant the names of the Lord.

2. Mahatmas - New Bhaktacharitras Each Month

India is the holy land with so many bhaktas (devotees). When we go through the Indian history, there must be a bhakta in every period. That is the greatness of this sacred land. Bhaktas are the role model for all the bonded souls. They enjoy their life in a perfect way. Bhaktas surrender themselves to the Lotus feet of Lord. By hearing or reading bhaktas' divine story, the bonded soul is enlightened to come out of the worldwide bondages.

Radhekrishna! Sincere chanting and listening to the great stories of devotees will surely give a peace of mind to everybody, even in this 21st century. So many people think that listening to the devotee's stories is a waste of time and there is no benefit at all. If somebody wants to realize the power of bagawan, first of all they must listen bhaktha charithram [stories of devotees]. There are so many advantages in listening to baktha charithram.

Bharath is a very special land and contained within it are sacred places and rivers. Devotees born in this sacred Bharath ensure that they propagate bhakti in all corners of the country. This is the precise reason why the fragrance of bhakti can be felt all around our country. Thirumangai Azhwar was visiting all the sacred places around this country. Whilst on pilgrimage around the country he visited the sacred town of Srirangam.

"vimaanam praNavaakaaram vEdhaSrungam mahaadhbhutham
SrirangaSaayee bhagavaan praNavaarththa prakaasaka:"

Tirumangai azhwar was leading a peaceful life of a bhaktha enjoying the Lord. From morning till night, we must be absorbed in the thought of the Lord and even in sleep we should be able to experience the Lord. This is what life is all about and the rest is all for maintaining the body. Lord Ranganatha was very pleased with the azhwar's bhakthi and decided to proclaim the bhakthi of  Tirumangai azhwar. One day the azhwar's disciple came to worship the Lord and the Lord appeared before him. The disciple was very pleased as the Lord himself showed his divine form and concluded that it was possible because he was the disciple of the azhwar.

The Lord declared to the disciple to make a statue of Tirumangai azhwar for worship and instructs him to place it in azhwar's home town. The Lord also said that the statue form of the azhwar would also benefit and bless all future generations. The disciple made two statues , one of the azhwar and another that of his wife kumudavalli nachiyar, built a temple and was conducting daily rituals and festivals in the temple as instructed by Lord Ranganatha. Even today we can worship the form of the azhwar built by his disciple. Such is the life history of Tirumangai azhwar and is very awe inspiring. The azhwar who was addicted to females was transformed by Kumudavalli nachiyar to be addicted to the Lord. He put himself in tight spots to carry out work for Lord Ranganatha. He is the last of the azhwars and was very lively and full of vigour. For years he continued his service to the Lord, lived happily with Kumudavalli Nachiyar and finally attained Moksha with all the blessings of the Lord.

Tirumangai Azhwar

Everybody at some point in time will do bhakthi and please do not judge people whether or not they will do bhakthi. Lords blessings can transform a person and will drag him/her to the path of bhakthi. For many months, we enjoyed the life history of a thief , a pleasure seeker who transformed to become an azhwar. Please do not judge your past and drop everything at the feet of the Lord and being to do bhakthi from this very moment. This is the only good deed you can do to your parents, your relatives, to the society and to yourselves. The Lord blessed all of us to enjoy in detail the life of the azhwar.

From next month onwards, we will enjoy the life history of a female devotee. In line with our vedhanaadham tradition, we will continue to enjoy male and female devotees alternatively. Please do bhakthi, have full faith on sathguru, do continuous namajapam, perform all your duties with total devotion, steer your familes in the right direction and live a life for the Lord.

3. Krishnam Vande Jagadhgurum - Extracts From The Holy Bhagawath Geetha

Radhekrishna.Hinduism is an ancient religion. All the things that have been spoken in Hindu religion can be applied in practical life. Although in 21st century till everyone can apply this in his or her daily life. The aim of Hindu religion is to provide total happiness to everyone at all times (or any point of time). The essence of Hinduism is told in "Bhagawad Gita". In order to realize what is said in Bhagawad Gita it is a compulsory (must) to have an unconditional faith on Bhagawad Gita. So many people have benefited in their lives because of the (by reading) shlokas of Bhagawad Gita. In Bhagawad Gita, Bhagawan Shri Krishna has told the way to lead a happy life in such an easy way that even a normal layman can easily understand. The slokas are so simple that anyone can understand and use it practically.

6. Samarpanam

parithraanaaya sadhoonaam vinasaya cha dhushkrutham

dharma sansthapanarthaya sambhavami yuge yuge

Bhagawan takes avatar in each and every yuga mainly to safeguard the bhaktas and then to destroy the rakshasaas who trouble his bhaktas. So Bhagawan comes to this bhoomi from paramapadham just for the sake of his bhaktas. Hence we come to know that bhaktas are very important to the Lord. Whenever Bhagawan comes to rescue his bhaktas, the other fellow people also reap the benefits.........Our guruji amma gives high respect to all the bhaktas. Hence our Vedhanaadham's every issue will be dedicated to one bhakta. This issue we are dedicating to the one of the great devotee of the Lord namely - 'Sri Vaadiraja Tirtha '
