1. The Divine Message - Message From Poojyashree Shree Amma - The Ultimate Liberator Bestowed By Lord Shri Krishna!

Can everyone promise me something? Please can you all chant Krishna Krishna Krishna within your mind.. The more you chant Krishna the more you will feel the presence of the Lord. Even while playing if you chant Krishna and hit the ball you can play well. All these are possible in life.. The other countrymen are cheating us. In India alone you can lead a spiritual life and no where else you can do that. Second is our Indian tradition which is unique and can only be followed here. Indian tradition and customs are based around respect for people. A sibling who is about 15 years of age is looked upon by the younger siblings with respect. But these days what is happening is that evil plans are being designed to bring our downfall. In olden days as well diseases did exist and definitely could have affected one of our parents or ancestors.

2. Mahatmas - New Bhaktacharitras Each Month

India is the holy land with so many bhaktas (devotees). When we go through the Indian history, there must be a bhakta in every period. That is the greatness of this sacred land. Bhaktas are the role model for all the bonded souls. They enjoy their life in a perfect way. Bhaktas surrender themselves to the Lotus feet of Lord. By hearing or reading bhaktas' divine story, the bonded soul is enlightened to come out of the worldwide bondages.

Radhekrishna! Sincere chanting and listening to the great stories of devotees will surely give a peace of mind to everybody, even in this 21st century. So many people think that listening to the devotee's stories is a waste of time and there is no benefit at all. If somebody wants to realize the power of bagawan, first of all they must listen bhaktha charithram [stories of devotees]. There are so many advantages in listening to baktha charithram.

Bharath is a very special land and contained within it are sacred places and rivers. Devotees born in this sacred Bharath ensure that they propagate bhakti in all corners of the country. This is the precise reason why the fragrance of bhakti can be felt all around our country.

Our beloved Guruji  has a special reverence for Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and in the coming issues, we will enjoy his bhakthi and the path of devoution that he had set an example for us to follow.

Ragunatha Pandit was a great scholar and he was sure that he will be the foremost one among all the discussions and logic. Both Nimayee and Ragunatha Pandit has mutual respect for each other. Once the guru told Ragunatha Pandit to determine a sentence that suits a paricular phrase. The pandit spent hours trying to figure out and finally arrived at the proper one which was approved by the guru as well. Ragunatha thn only proceeds to start cooking and have his meal. Nimayee on the absence of Ragunatha decides to pay a visit to him. We should develp such a devoution that the gurus, devotees and the Lord long to meet us and pay a visit to our place.

Nimayee asks why there is a delay in preparing the food and Ragunatha replies that the guru had given a difficult task of framing a sentence and hence the delay. Nimayee asks about the problem and laughs that such a simple task has taken hours to complete there by delaying his meal. Nimayee produces the sentence in minutes and explains about it as well. This brought extreme sadness to the pandit as he was thinking of becoming the foremost among the learned men. Sometimes the devoutees would do things that seemingly affects us. The reason is this will create a single minded thought on the affect person and would lead to meditation. The saints and gurus dont have any pride as they can easily bypass the common man without mingling with them. Ragunatha was upset that Nimayee would over take him.

Tirumangai Azhwar

Once the pandit was writing a book on logic and dharma and was bent on producing the best in the class book in that category. At the same time Nimayee was also writing a book on a similar topic and the pandit gets afraid that his book may not outclass that of Nimayee. So the pandit decides to meet Nimayee and enquires about the book. Nimayee laughs and says that writing a book is something that is not his kind and can only be attributed to the likes of pandit Ragunath. But Ragunath insists on seeing the book and so Nimayee promises that he will bring it to him the next day.

RadheKrishna.. More of Gauranga leela to continue in the coming episodes.

3. Krishnam Vande Jagadhgurum - Extracts From The Holy Bhagawath Geetha

Radhekrishna.Hinduism is an ancient religion. All the things that have been spoken in Hindu religion can be applied in practical life. Although in 21st century till everyone can apply this in his or her daily life. The aim of Hindu religion is to provide total happiness to everyone at all times (or any point of time). The essence of Hinduism is told in "Bhagawad Gita". In order to realize what is said in Bhagawad Gita it is a compulsory (must) to have an unconditional faith on Bhagawad Gita. So many people have benefited in their lives because of the (by reading) shlokas of Bhagawad Gita. In Bhagawad Gita, Bhagawan Shri Krishna has told the way to lead a happy life in such an easy way that even a normal layman can easily understand. The slokas are so simple that anyone can understand and use it practically.
In the coming months we will enjoy the 12th Chapter of Gita and the devoution towards the Lord as explained by our  beloved Guruji.

Gurujiamma & Guruji - Krishnam Vande Jagathgurum

This is a big planet and has a very powerful force called gravity. Yet a small seed which is buried deep in the earth is able to defy and germinate. How is that this seed is able to penetrate, germinate, grow leaves, roots and become stronger. This is because the Lord is prompting the seed to do so. Forget humans and let us take the case of animals and birds and each of them have a different kind of food. How is that a deer knows that grass is what should be taken for food. Did we ever educate the deer. Who teaches the lion to chase a deer and attack it to have it as a meal. The Lord inside the lion is prompting it to do so. Take the example of a mosquito. It is very small and will die if we hit it. Even then it is able to find the correct blood vessel and is able to suck the blood from us! Even doctors find it hard during blood test to locate the vessels but a mosquito finds it easily.

The same Lord who is prompting the mosquito is also prompting and helping us but we are not ready to listen. But if we begin to listen to the Lord then we will begin to enjoy true happiness. Tortoises come to the shore to lay eggs and they never return after that from the sea. The little one inside the egg hatches and will always go into the water only and not wander anywhere else. Who teaches a young fish to swim. All these are being instructed by the Lord. A creeper is able to locate the correct support and grow. The same Lord who is prompting these creatures is also helping us. But if we are ready to hear and wait like Arjuna did the Lord will definitely answer.

Arjuna in all humility with folded hands before Krishna was hoping that the Lord will clarify all his doubts. You can also ask the Lord with the same humility and the Lord will be forced to answer. The Lord looks at Arjuna , smiles and was preparing to answer him. Like Arjuna you also wait for the next episode to see what the Lord has to say.

RadheKrishna.. Gita Continues.....

RadheKrishna  RadheKrishna..

Kulashekara Azhwaar

Perumal Thirumozhi was as a result of Kulasekara azhwar longing to see and enjoy Lord Ranganatha. The Thirumozhi also results from the bhakthi of the azhwar towards Rama and Krishna and he begins with his longing for Lord Ranganatha. Everyone of us have so much of longing for the worldly affairs but the longing and the love for the lord alone will help us achieve a good state.

Kulasekara azhwar enjoys Lord Ranganatha as Adisheshan in the first two pasurams or songs. Then he enjoys the Lord as enjoyed by Brahma. But the way Gopis enjoyed the Lord is considered to be supreme. This is because the not so intelligent Gopis were fully aware of the strengths of the Lord and believed that Krishna would save them. Of all the avataras, Krishna avatar is considered to be the best and one that can easily be enjoyed. This was followed by Kulasekara azhwar enjoying how Narada and Tumburu enjoy the Lord. He continues further and sees how the devotees are enjoying the Lord. Then the azhwar begins to what is safeguarding the Lord.

The conch is ever residing with the Lord. The conch is little bent because it is very proud of his association with the Lord. We cant really call this pride but the conch is at the every end of the depth of the devoution towards the Lord. This explanation was provided by swami Periyavaachan pillai by meditating on the azhwar, the Lord and on the conch. It is because of Periyavaachan pillai alone that the 4000 divya prabandams (hymns) are clearly understood by all. Bagawadth Gita commentaries have been written by many people. But till date there is only one commentary by Periyavaachan pillai on these hymns and nothing else is able to override that becase the commentary is par excellence and speaks the truth. These hymns are guarded by the commentary of Periyaavachan pillai and nobody is able to crack this fort not even by people of other religions.

The Lord is having conch on one hand and on the other the bow called Sarngam. These weapons are looking at the Lord and in turn the Lord is looking at these weapons as well. There is also the chakra for which the main task is to destroy the evil in the world. If we visit the temples we will note that the chakrathazhwan (chakra) is in the front and we can only have a view of the Lord Narasimha at the back! Even in Srirangam there is more crowd to pray to Chakrathazhwan than Lord Ranganatha! They may even turn back with out visiting Ranganatha, Ranganayagi or Swami Ramanuja. Swami Desika out of his experience says that meditating on the Chakra can relieve us of all sufferings and give happiness. In the case of King Ambarisa, everybody tolerated Duruvasa but not the Chakra of the Lord. The Chakra decided to kill the sage and even the Lord was unable to control the Chakra

When the sage fell at the feet of the Lord to save him from Chakra, the Lord replied that He will not be able to do anything and that the sage should fall at the feet of the King and be saved. At last King Ambarisha prayed to Chakra to spare the sage and then only did Chakrathazhwar left his intention of killing Duruvasa. The King Ambarisha was saved only because he was constantly praying to the Chakra that was given by the Lord to him and that alone save his life. Then there is a club (gadha) called Gomedhagam.

6. Samarpanam

parithraanaaya sadhoonaam vinasaya cha dhushkrutham

dharma sansthapanarthaya sambhavami yuge yuge

Bhagawan takes avatar in each and every yuga mainly to safeguard the bhaktas and then to destroy the rakshasaas who trouble his bhaktas. So Bhagawan comes to this bhoomi from paramapadham just for the sake of his bhaktas. Hence we come to know that bhaktas are very important to the Lord. Whenever Bhagawan comes to rescue his bhaktas, the other fellow people also reap the benefits.........Our guruji amma gives high respect to all the bhaktas. Hence our Vedhanaadham's every issue will be dedicated to one bhakta. This issue we are dedicating to the one of the great eternal devotees of the Lord namely - 'Chatrapathi Shivaji'

The grear warrior and devotee was born on 19 February 1630 as Shivaji Bhosle to Jiajabai and Shahaji Bhonsle. It was Sant Thukaram Maharaj who had instructed Jijabai to pray for a son who would work to protect the Hindus.

The great spiritual soul who listened to the recitations of Ramayana and Mahabharata that shaped up his religious and moral life

The great king who loved and promoted sanskrit all his life. He changed the names of his persian ministers and forts to sanskrit as well

The great devotee was the disciple of the famous Samartha Ramdas swami. The guru himself has praised Shivaji as " He can be glorified as successful, famous, blessed, valorours, meritorioius and an icon of morality. There has been none like Shivaji, a knower of Dharma who has protected Hindu Dharma"

The great ruler who protected all his subjects, women and opposed religous conversion.
