1. The Divine Message - Message From Poojyashree Shree Amma - The Ultimate Liberator Bestowed By Lord Shri Krishna!

*Note :This file must be played only by Real Player and the player may ask for a updation to play this video file, click Yes to continue..

I am propagating these messages so that ,at least in future, humans will change themselves. Have complete and undeviated faith in the Lord and fall at his feet. Cry out "Krishna it is You who should make all good things happen to me". It is without our knowledge we put down our religion in favour of others. When we see a man of another faith praying on the streets we comment that we should be principled like he is. When members of other religious sect behave socially we are amazed by their behaviour. Do you know what goes on behind the scenes in these sects? You don't know and desipte that all these eulogies make a last impression on our children and they are attracted towards them. It takes a huge effort to bring back those children on track. In olden days aunts, grand parents used to teach the kids about good habits including how to groom one's hair, how to wear dresses and the best practices of prayers and religious believes. Everything is changing now but we will no longer via RadheKrishna satsangam will allow these changes to happen. The thing to be done today is to do lots of namajapam and sincere prayers that the task on hand should be accomplished. We should pray to the Lord and chant 'Krishna', 'Krishna' , 'Krishna' to well accomplish the desired tasks. Rest assured, the Lord will take care of everything.

It is fortunate to listen and be blessed to Guruji Amma
's Sathsangam through phone irrespective of one's domicile in any nook and corner of this universe and many more souls should yearn to enjoy this bliss! Since people are easily tempted to the uncivilized activities and are trapped in the web of movies, television programmes and some unpleasant magazines, more and more Sathsangams should be encouraged and attended to keep oneself engaged in the union of the Almighty, which is the only eternal truth. Just as hills are made of hard stones alone and its originality cannot be replaced, likewise Bhagawaan is the eternal truth and at a stage each one realizes this truth. Its no compulsion and even those who have disassociated will realize this truth. Such is the greatness of Bhakthi and Naamasankeerthana. Since, Naamasankeerthana is the Kali Yuga Dharma, there is no match to it. Radhekrishna!

2. Mahatmas - New Bhaktacharitras Each Month

India is the holy land with so many bhaktas (devotees). When we go through the Indian history, there must be a bhakta in every period. That is the greatness of this sacred land. Bhaktas are the role model for all the bonded souls. They enjoy their life in a perfect way. Bhaktas surrender themselves to the Lotus feet of Lord. By hearing or reading bhaktas' divine story, the bonded soul is enlightened to come out of the worldwide bondages.

Radhekrishna! Sincere chanting and listening to the great stories of devotees will surely give a peace of mind to everybody, even in this 21st century. So many people think that listening to the devotee's stories is a waste of time and there is no benefit at all. If somebody wants to realize the power of bagawan, first of all they must listen bhaktha charithram [stories of devotees]. There are so many advantages in listening to baktha charithram.

Bharath is a very special land and contained within it are sacred places and rivers. Devotees born in this sacred Bharath ensure that they propagate bhakti in all corners of the country. This is the precise reason why the fragrance of bhakti can be felt all around our country. Thirumangai Azhwar was visiting all the sacred places around this country. Whilst on pilgrimage around the country he visited the sacred town of Srirangam.

"vimaanam praNavaakaaram vEdhaSrungam mahaadhbhutham
SrirangaSaayee bhagavaan praNavaarththa prakaasaka:"

The Lord by being the benefactor of the whole universe protects the living entities and ensures that things get done. At the same time , the Lord is ensuring that other devas has a rightful place and are respected. But at the same time we should not get confused that all the devas and the Lord are one and the same. Hence only the Lord should be the focus of our attention and then only we will able to realise what truth means. The Lord says this verse in Bagawad Gita as follows

bhoktaram yajna-tapasam sarva loka maheswaram
suhrdam sarva-bhutanam jnatva mama santim rcchati

The verse states that the end benefactor of all these yajnas or sacrifices is the Lord himself. Those beings that conclude and follow that the Lord is the only saviour attains infinite peace and this what the Lord proclaims in Gita. Hence to attain such peace we should be within the perimeter of the grace of the Lord and meditate upon Him. Tirumangai azhwar was in such a state and hence whilst doing things that were against shastras as well. he was in peace with himself. If we look around we would find many humans who live by what shastras proclaim but they never attain any peace. At the same time we will come across people who will tend to bend the behaviour declared in the texts but will always be at peace. The reasoning behind this is that those devotees lead their lives with the Lord as their foundation. Hence Tirumangai azhwar though was bending the rules was living a peaceful existence because his actions had Lord as the foundation stone.
Lord Renganatha
The azhwar steals the buddha statue , beheads his cousin Parakalan and despite that his mind did not have any confusion , was not worried about the after effects of his tasks or worried about the karmic effects and was in a crystal clear state. This is because the azhwar does all this for Lord Ranganatha. If the azhwar had done this for the sake of his family or for himself or as a result of his desires, anger or due his past karmas, he would not have attained any peace. The azhwar is on his way and is entering a divine place called Thirukannankudi. The azhwar feels tired as a result of his walking through the day and is feeling exhausted. He notices a field that has been ploughed recently and decides to hide the buddha statue in it. The other reason being that the buddhists have found out that the azhwar has stolen the statue and were behind him. The azhwar is feeling hungry and tired and decides to rest under a tamarind tree. The azhwar had one fear though that if he sleeps off then in the morning the farmer would locate the statue while ploughing or while planting the seedlings. He decides something and looks up the tree under which he was resting. He touches the tree and says that he is going to fall asleep but the tree should not sleep and wake him up early in the morning. He goes further and says that this task is being done for the Lord and that the tree will also benefit from this action. The action of azhwar might puzzle us and seem to go a little over the line of sanity. But the truth is human mind is very powerful and that every other living form can sense the events around it as well. Since the Lord is present as antharyaami (dwelling inside) in all entities, even the trees can sense the happenings around them. Today science has proved that the trees can sense our feelings like anger happiness etc. A true incident happened thus.

A coconut tree that a person had was growing towards his neighbours house and was being deemed a disturbance. The neighbour asked the person to cut down the coconut tree. The person was not keen on cutting down the tree not because the tree was useful to him but because he thought it to be a living entity as well. The person borrowed a month's time to have the tree cut down. In that time he did not do anything other than finishing his prayers and telling the tree to bend and grow towards his own house. To the surprise of his neighbour after a month the tree started bending and growing towards the owners house. The rate at which incidents happen is very much proportional to the dedication of the mind with which the work is undertaken. Hence the azhwar tells the tree and decides to sleep. Such is the faith of the azhwar in the tree within which the lord resides as well.

Tirumangai Azhwar

In the morning, the tree saw the farmer coming and decides to wake up the azhwar. The tree shed its leaves and woke up the azhwar who was asleep. The azhwar wakes up and was astonished to find that the tree had woken him as requested. He blessed the sleepless tree with his whole heart. The tree was in existence in Thirukannankudi until recently when a storm had damaged it. It is such an amazing feat that a tree helped the azhwar and this proves the purity of the heart and the strength of his devotion towards Lord Ranganatha. Even today any reference to Thirukannankudi is associated with the tamarind tree that woke up the azhwar. The azhwar then rushes to speak to the farmer. We will see in next week what the azhwar argued and how he was victorious in that argument

To be continued.... RadheKrishna

3. Krishnam Vande Jagadhgurum - Extracts From The Holy Bhagawath Geetha

Radhekrishna.Hinduism is an ancient religion. All the things that have been spoken in Hindu religion can be applied in practical life. Although in 21st century till everyone can apply this in his or her daily life. The aim of Hindu religion is to provide total happiness to everyone at all times (or any point of time). The essence of Hinduism is told in "Bhagawad Gita". In order to realize what is said in Bhagawad Gita it is a compulsory (must) to have an unconditional faith on Bhagawad Gita. So many people have benefited in their lives because of the (by reading) shlokas of Bhagawad Gita. In Bhagawad Gita, Bhagawan Shri Krishna has told the way to lead a happy life in such an easy way that even a normal layman can easily understand. The slokas are so simple that anyone can understand and use it practically.

Gurujiamma & Guruji - Krishnam Vande Jagathgurum

Bagawad Gita is an absolute treasure. We are calling useless wordly things as treasures. Real treasure lies in Hindu religon in the form of Bagawad Gita. Other religons and their texts have their foundations in Gita. Gita is like the sun that is eternally shining. Gita transcends body, mind, senses , the world and speaks about soul (jeevathma) and its eternal relationship to the Lord (paramathma). It is Krishna's desire to teach us how to use the physical body that will degenerate to enjoy eternal bliss. The Lord teaches us exactly in the same way a mother would teach a kid with affection, kindness and in all sincerity. It is the eternal mercy of the Lord that makes us lose ourselves and we should enjoy that mercy. Despite being all powerful the Lord comes down to our level and this is a very great thing about Him. In Ramayana, Sita cries out of unlimited joy at the simplicity of the Lord after Rama mixes with her as a normal being taking care of her. Similarly Lord Krishna also teaches Arjuna simple techniques with the aim of bringing him up.

If a mother is teaching her child cooking then first she will start with simple things before proceeding to teach the intricacies. It is not that the mother does not want to teach these intricacies on the first day but she gradually takes one step at a time bringing the child up to speed with cooking. The Lord says to handover the mind and the heart to Him. If that is not possible then the Lord tells to do Abhyasam or meditate on his form. If even that is not feasible the Lord instructs to do all the regular karmas for him. We should all do karma and even the trees do their karma but silently. We complain and do our karma. I dont like this but yet I have to do this work. The boss does not understand but yet I am to deliver this work. We initiate unnecessary dialogues like these. The work lasts for only 5 minutes but the moanings last for 55 mins. This should all change and then only we can experience peace and understand life. Life never lets us down it is us who puts down life and belittle it. We should do karma for the Lord and this is what all our elders have taught us and have established it also in practice. There are loads of examples in our puranas on this topic.

Lord Rama decides per the wishes of his parents to go to forest for 14 years. His brother Bharatha was in Kaikeya and before he returned all the events have happened and Rama leaves for forest. As soon as Bharatha learnt of the events , he prays to the Lord that he and the kingdom of Ayodhya are the Lord's property. One of the Lord's property can't rule the other and so he prays that he does not want the kingdom. But Lord Rama insists that he is unable to return and that his order to Bharatha is to rule the kingdom in his absence for 14 years. Then only Bharatha gets convinced and returns with the sandals (footwear) of Lord Rama . He places them on the throne and rules the kingdom. Everyday Bharatha would wake up and bow to the sandals, discuss the daily activities of the day, explain the accounts on the income and expenditure of the kingdom, tax collection etc. This did not change even for a day for all the 14 years. Laxmana's service is noble but Bharathas service is even more commendable. This is because Laxman does all the service with the Lord being associated with him and hence there is no chance of him doing anything incorrectly. But Bharatha was not under the direct supervison of the Lord and to be perfect in deeds when not being supervised is considered to be very special. It is a wonderful thing that Bharatha did this for fourteen full years. It was during that period that Ayodhyas wealth multipled as per Swami Desikar's verses in Paduka sahasram. so what did Bharatha gained by doing these karma for fourteen years? This gave Bharatha the full confidence and affection of the Lord towards him. It is our fate to get attached to the Lord but it is not so for the Lord to get attached to us. The results of doing the karma gave Bharatha the divine embrace from the Lord after 14 years. Also Rama did mention this till the very last day of his rule that Bharatha did a wonderful job for the full 14 years in his absence. Lord Rama would praise Bharatha to the extent that he would feel ashamed to hear those words. Thus the Lord declares that one can attain liberation (moksha) even if one does karma for the Lord.

King Dhruv ruled for over 36,000 years and finally attained Moksha. There is no reference of him getting entangled in the good or the bad deeds because he did everything for the Lord. Prahalad was an asura king but none of the deeds that he did affected him as he performed everything for the Lord. In Kaliyuga as well, we can find such great souls as Kulasekara azhwar who did karma for the Lord. Once King Shivaji went and met saint Tukaram and listens to his discourses. After that Shivaji gave up ruling his kingdom and begins to meditate on the Lord. Shivaji's mother met Tukaram and explained the situation. Tukaram then advises shivaji that it is his duty as a Kshatriya to take good care of the Kingdom. Also Shivaji declares himself to be a slave of Samarth Ramdas and declares that he does not have anything to do with the kingdom any more. Then Shivaji asks his guru what is the next step as he has given up everything. Samarth Ramdas advises him to go and rule the kingdom. He explains to Shivaji to go as his slave disciple and rule the kingdom as opposed to ruling as a king and to do karma as he wishes Shivaji to do. In addition to that Ramdas writes ""Dasa Bodam" explaining the intricacies in ruling the kingdom and hands it over to Shivaji.

If we have a look at Bagawadam, gopis did the karma of gracing the cow with all sincerity for the Lord. This is why Lord grew up with the cowherd community giving gopis unlimited bliss. It is our duty to do karma and must be done. No one has falled down by doing his karma sincerely and it is only the group that has not done the allocated karma or duty has fallen down. If we track down, those who are unemployed and are loitering aimlessly, those are the ones who are the cause of all troubles in familes and else where. An idle mind is a devil's workshop and we all know that very well. Hence we must use this body to do our duties or karma and if we dedicate that to the Lord then we will naturally see a big difference.

Why not try this yourself? How long will you listen to such discourses. Bhakthi and Bagawad Gita are pure experiences. The Lord splendidly explains this to Arjuna who was listening attentively. He was overjoyed but a thought crossed him that it would be very nice if a method that is even simpler than doing karma for the Lord can be looked at!

Kulasekara Azhwar  rejects the idea that even if under a white canopy he was to rule all the worlds and enjoy beautiful maids like Oorvasi and instead aspires to be something on the Tirumala hills where the Lord with rosy lips resides for ever.

Seven Hills of Tirupati

Everybody in this world wants to bring others under their control and hopes that others would serve them, satisfy all their wishes and look upon them with fear and respect. This is what everybody is aspiring to achieve. Depending on the status of the individual these aspirations are going on endlessly. A lion aspires to control the likes of deer and other animals and rule over them. Big birds like eagles aspire to rule over small birds like crows, doves and cuckoos. There is no need to mention about humans as every individual knows what they are aspiring for. Even a small kid wishes that its parents and relatives dance to the tune that it dictates. Rich expect the poor servants to obey them without a second thought. Husbands want their wives to obey them and vice versa and there is no end to this list.

Kulashekara Azhwaar

But Kulsekara azhwar rejects the idea of ruling the worlds. There are 14 such worlds like Indralogam (heaven), Chandralogam (moon), bhoologam (earth), bhuvarlogam etc.The azhwar has decided that there is no joy in ruling and presiding over all these worlds. In heaven we can enjoy beautiful ladies like oorvasi. To mingle with ladies is what most men consider to be all and end all of their life. It is only natural that men fall for beautiful ladies. However beautiful a lady is there is a well defined anatomy. The same is true for a male human body as well. There is nothing special about these bodies and there is nothing special from body to body.Hence there is no joy or peace in mingling with such ladies, the joy of drinking nectar, ruling amaravathi , a ride on Aairavatham(an elephant) and devas like moon paying respects etc . People would generally think that if we attain a high state in life then they can be free from all worries. But the fact is the higher states of responsibility bring a lot of burden and does not reduce the worries that one undergoes.

In Srimad Bagavadam also Gokarna says to his father that there is no joy or peace for Indra or Chandra. The people who are ever satisfied and happy are those who are constantly thinking and chanting the names of the Lord. Even if just two humans are around there would be a difference of opinion and misunderstandings might result. So Gokarnan requests his father to reject everything and leave for the forest and meditate upon the Lord. This is the fact and only chanting and meditating on the Lord gives one true happiness. Those who do bhakthi will enjoy this unlimited happiness. Hence the azhwar rejects ruling of the worlds and the enjoyment derived from beautiful ladies. Anybody who is physically attracted to others will fall down in life and per puranas these beings are making a journey towards hell.

If we are in extreme poverty then nobody will even come and wish to have a relationship with us. Lord Krishna longs for that being which have been rejected by everyone. Because the Lords duty is to accept that thing or person which has been rejected by everyone. The chances of Lord Krishna accepting something which has been embraced by the world is very less and is true viceversa also. Krishna loves tulsi but not everyone likes it despite the fact that they have accepted all other kinds of beautiful flowers. Hence the joy lies in the Lord accepting us and rejects the life of a ruler accompanied by oorvasi.

Lord Balaji has lips that resemble rose petals. This is not apparent because we are not seeing the idol as Lord himself. If we have the divine experience alone we can enjoy the real beauty of the Lord. The azhwar loving calls "Lord of red lips". To enjoy the Lord nothing else is required other than a pure heart. Nobody else has addressed the lord in this way as done by Kulasekara azhwar. The beauty is the azhwar being a man is attracted to the Lord who also has a male form. This is possible because the azhwar transforms himself as a true gopi(female devotee) and hence falls in love with the Lord.

Tirumala hills are such that even the Lord has a fascination for them. Those who visit Tirumala hills are considered to very fortunate. There is no other divine place on this earth as Mother India. There are so many hills on this planet but there is nothing that can be compared to Tirupathi hills. People have started building temples on other hills but nothing will even come closer to the sanctity of the seven hills in tirupathi. Many divine devotees have transformed their forms and are meditating on the Lord in these hills. The Lord himself claims ownership of these hills and proclaims "these are my hills, these are my hills". If the Lord himself proclaims owernship we should imagine the value of that and make every attempt to get into that league. If we are destined to be a mountain then we should either be Govarthana or Tirmula hills. The Lord lifted the former and is standing onthe latter making everybody praise these hills.

Lord Balaji....Govinda Govinda!!

Even today a sea of people jump in joy in all weathers chanting 'Govinda', 'Govinda' and climb these hills. Should not we realise the sancity of these hills by the mere fact that all the desires of the people who visit them get fulfilled instantly. Hence the azhwar summarizes that he should be at least become something on these hills. One of Ramanujar's disciple, Tirumalai Ananthazhwar, writes a commentary on this verse. He writes that the hills have more sanctity than the Lord! . This is because the Lord himself loved the hills and came and stood on them. Hence the disciple declares that the hills are considered sacred than the Lord and we should have some association with those hills. At the same time Parsara Battar , a devotee , when writing his commentary states that azhwar wishes to become that thing on the hills where he himself wont recognize, the Lord wont recognize and all others wont recognize as well. We should try to become at least something on the hills and then only we can realize what the azhwar means.

The azhwar concludes his ten songs on the greatness of the seven hills. If the hill themselves are so holy, there is nothing to describe the Lord who is standing on these hills. The next song concludes this series. The azhwar declares in his last song the benefits one will derive by reading the ten songs. And again the conclusion of these ten songs comes at the birthday month of Gurujiamma. This is the grace showered by the Lord of Tirumala.

Journey To Lord Krishna’s Heaven In Earth

This soul known as Babu in this mortal world with the Blessings of Satguru Poojya Shri Shri Amma and Lord Krishna and Radha Rani would humbly like pen down journey details to Pandarpur/Mathura/Brindawan and Ayodhya:

A very wonderful experience of having bath in the Punyatheertham Chandrabaga river morning and evening, Jalasatsangam by Sri. Gopalavallidasan and wonderful Darshan of Lord Vittal and Devi Rukmini.

What could one say about this heaven on earth of Bhagawan Krishna and Devi Radha Rani!!??. Radhekrishna….Radhekrishna….Radhekrishna. Radhe…Radhe…Radhe.

Of course for the believers this is the heaven in earth and absolutely no doubt about it. One who has the blessing of their Sath Guru and the Lord can feel immediately setting their foot on this soil the sanctity and presence of Lord Krishna and Devi Radha Rani all around them and to heighten the feeling people around greeting each other and talking / addressing Radhe…Radhe.

Our Group of 80+, 70+ , 60+, 50+,  middle aged, teens and childrens of 3 to 6 all were enjoying it all in their own way. The beautiful smell of the soil with the wind carrying the dust and the dust entering ones mouth and the feelings one get at that moment “Oh Lord you, Devi Radha Rani or your Gopis might have once upon a time would have walked on this soil...how lucky we are…Radhe…Radhe…we are cleansed. What a wonderful memorable feeling is this! Is this not enough for one to get the confidence that MUKTI is at hand from repeated life circle!!! Radhe..Radhe. One's Atma immediately gets cleansed setting foot on this soil with a bit jealousy to the natives who permanently reside here. This is Krishna’s place and everywhere milk, curd and butter is flowing. Darshans at many temples and Bath at Yamuna River.

Darshan at Ramjanmabhoomi and bath in Sarayu River.

Attributing everything to Miracle is fanaticism but at the same time not accepting the fact of presence of Lord and the Power of a Sathguru is foolishness, self esteem and ego. A kid in the Group of 3 Yrs and 4 Months (Jayakrishna) had her bath in the hands of her Sath Guru in the rivers Chandrabaga, Yamuna, Gomati, Sarayu, Prokshnam of Chakra Theertham, Parikrama at Brindawan and Govardhan Giri(Bus) and Darshan at all Temples with all of us.

How lucky is this young soul and the other two small children (Krishnaprasad and Nandita) of this group. At this very tender age all these three children got the blessings of the Lord and their Sath Guru but we all had to wait to reach this age!!!!!! Radhe….Radhe….Radhe….Radhe.

Jai Shree Poojyashree Shree Amma

Some Of The Happenings

While on parikrama at Brindawan an old person of more than 65 appeared from no where en-route and started chanting with us embraced Sri. Gopalavallidasan, danced chanting Radhe…Radhe with him and both were weeping as two long long lost Bhaktas met each others after many BIRTHS!!!!This gentle soul Shri. Chaturvediji was with us in our entire stay at Brindawan and gave us a tearful parting. Is this not a proving that in any Yuga a True Bhakta recognizes the other Bhakta and gets together to sing and dance chanting the glory of their beloved LORD!! Radhe Krishna. …Radhekrishna.

Another happening which needs a mention here is that after a brief Pravachan by Sri.Gopalavallidasan at the banks of river Yamuna when some of us entered in the waters of the river for a Prokshanam and ALAS!!!!! There was complete darkness all around,
Strong wind blowing, lightning and drizlling rain and due to all this happening a feeling that Yamuna is swelling with water!!! My Lord…what a terrific wonderful feeling.

One seeing all this can imagine how Vasudev that day with very much more what was happening in front and yamuna surrounded with forest and pitch darkness would have carried the new born Lord Krishna across the swollen Yamuna. Radhekrishna!!!!.

And now coming to Self and some of the facts for the benefit of the ones interested to know of a SATH GURU”S concern, Love, Anxiety Advise and above all the blessings topped with Lord Krishna’s Blessings:

This soul Babu is a major Heart Patient carrying 3/ 4 Blockages in veins and cannot walk even half a kilometer with out having suffocation and very hardly climb 2 floors.Cannot carry 2 KG. Weight and walk. With a vengeance, strong will, stubbornness and to prove to some non believers of Sath guru Shakti and existence of Lord Krishna decided either to prove them wrong or in the process get collapse and unite at the golden feet of Lord Krishna with Guru Dyanam and Bhagawan Namajabam. God and my respected beloved Sathguru Guruji amma was having other plans for this soul. Guruji Amma was always with this soul guiding, advising, giving strength and confidence.

Naachiyaar Sevai - Amma

With the blessings of Sath Guru Poojya Shree Shree Amma and Lord Krishna this soul completed the vraja parikrama of 12 kilometer walk without wearing chappal in the boiling heat, sand and at time on sharp stones. At the end asked the non believers now after the Yamuna happenings and this walk do you believe.

Again this soul proved nothing is impossible if the sath guru and Lord Krishna is with you by climbing 249 steps at Barsana Radha Rani’s Birth place and many steps at Nandagopars palace and these people were really stunned as this was all being done on a very very hot afternoon and the steps were like hot iron on barefoot. They were graceful enough to accept this soul’s explanations about the existence of Lord Krishna and the Sath Guru Shakti. Felt very very happy for this all and also for my Guru choosing me a tool (nimitham) for this job. Also, many opportunities were created for this soul to explain in length about Sri. Gopalavallidasan and Sath Guru Poojya Shree Shree Amma and to the best of ability with the guru dyanam self explained to all in the limitied knowledge self has and could speak.

A Very Very Wonderful Trip and was feeling when leaving Brindawan as if you stay with your children who are far away and are on a short trip and at the time of departure what ever will be your feeling that was the same feeling.

Actually self want to get united at the lotus feet of Lord Krishna at Brindawan itself but the one for some years now holding this soul back is none other than my respecterd Sath Guru Poojya Shree Shree Amma. Radhekrishna…Radhekrishna…..Radhekrishna.

A promise......A guarantee......from experience......
Believe in Lord Krishna......believe in my Guru Sath Guru Poojya Shree Amma….believe in your Guru Pravachan Chakravarthy..Amma Priyan..Mahan Brahmashree Gopalavalli Dasan…follow their advice… Enjoy Lord…Enjoy Life.

6. Samarpanam

parithraanaaya sadhoonaam vinasaya cha dhushkrutham

dharma sansthapanarthaya sambhavami yuge yuge

Bhagawan takes avatar in each and every yuga mainly to safeguard the bhaktas and then to destroy the rakshasaas who trouble his bhaktas. So Bhagawan comes to this bhoomi from paramapadham just for the sake of his bhaktas. Hence we come to know that bhaktas are very important to the Lord. Whenever Bhagawan comes to rescue his bhaktas, the other fellow people also reap the benefits.........Our guruji amma gives high respect to all the bhaktas. Hence our Vedhanaadham's every issue will be dedicated to one bhakta. This issue is being dedicated to Periya Tirumalai Nambi (maternal uncle of Sri Ramanuja and whose birthday falls on May 2nd Star-Swathi Month-Chitra)

Lord Balaji....Govinda Govinda!!

Periya Tirumalai Nambi

pithaamahasyaapi pithaamahaaya praachethasaadheshapalapradhaaya
sribaashyakaaroththama dheshikaaya sreeshailapoornaaya namo namasthaath

Since the Lord Balaji himself called him father, Periya Tirumalai Nambi becomes the grandfather of Brahmaa too. We offer our many salutations to Him, who described Ramayana to all, which has nectar like words of Sri Valmiki Maharishi and who was the guru of Sri Ramanuja.

The saint, Sri Saila Purna, also known as Periya Tirumalai Nambi, was the favourite disciple of Yamunacharya and was responsible for spreading Sri Vaishnava Sampradayam.
The great saint who was the maternal uncle of Ethirajar (Ramanuja) and named the gifted child Elai Azhwar.
The pure soul was also the maternal uncle of Sri Ramanuja's cousin and named him Govindar.
The great soul who rescued Sri Embaar Govindhar from Kalahasthi and converted him as a Vaishnavite as per the wishes of Swami Ramanuja.
The great scholar who taught Ramayana to Sri Ramanuja for more than a year.
The only Acharya who gave a gift to his disciple, Ramanuja, who listened to Ramayana perfectly with full devotion. The gift given by him was to return his cousin Govindhar to him.
The great teacher who refused to accept Govindhar back when he returned to him after being not able to bear his separation. He firmly sent him back to Ramanuja indicating that a sold cow will not be fed grass any longer. This was because Nambi knew that Ramanuja loved his cousin Govindhar to a very great extent.
The great devotee who took up the noble work of bringing water everyday till his end from Aakasa ganga for bathing the Lord. The great soul was tested by the Lord himself in the form of a hunter asking for some water and when refused drank the water via a hole made from the pot. This angered Nambi and the Lord revealed himself calling him 'thatha' (father in sanskrit). It is in that tradition that his descendants are called thathacharyas.
The great humble soul who himself welcomed Ramanuja with full respects while he was on a visit to Tirumala and when questioned by Ramanuja as to why he did not send a person of smaller capacity, he humbly declared that he could not find anybody smaller to him in the whole of Tirumala!
