1. The Divine Message - Message From Poojyashree Shree Amma - The Ultimate Liberator Bestowed By Lord Shri Krishna!

Life is there so that we all could be happy. Life is not so enjoyable because of lack of bhakthi. The other reason for this unhappiness is due to desires and expectations. Every one of us expects humans to behave and be in a particular fashion. And when that expecations are not met then there is unhappiness. Let us not have those expecations and instead accept everything that the Lord gives us. In that case of acceptance there can never be any unhappiness. The Lord has given us brains that enable us to think. We never desired or pleaded to the Lord to provide us those brains!

2. Mahatmas - New Bhaktacharitras Each Month

India is the holy land with so many bhaktas (devotees). When we go through the Indian history, there must be a bhakta in every period. That is the greatness of this sacred land. Bhaktas are the role model for all the bonded souls. They enjoy their life in a perfect way. Bhaktas surrender themselves to the Lotus feet of Lord. By hearing or reading bhaktas' divine story, the bonded soul is enlightened to come out of the worldwide bondages.

Radhekrishna! Sincere chanting and listening to the great stories of devotees will surely give a peace of mind to everybody, even in this 21st century. So many people think that listening to the devotee's stories is a waste of time and there is no benefit at all. If somebody wants to realize the power of bagawan, first of all they must listen bhaktha charithram [stories of devotees]. There are so many advantages in listening to baktha charithram.

Bharath is a very special land and contained within it are sacred places and rivers. Devotees born in this sacred Bharath ensure that they propagate bhakti in all corners of the country. This is the precise reason why the fragrance of bhakti can be felt all around our country.

Our beloved Guruji  has a special reverence for Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and in the coming issues, we will enjoy his bhakthi and the path of devoution that he had set an example for us to follow.

Jaganatha Mishra was very fortunate to have left his body after taking water from the hands of Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Not all have the fortune of leaving the body in front of a devotee and the devas were delighted and proclaimed that Jaganatha Mishra would depart for moksha. Nimayee consoled his mother saying that these happenings are normal in this world and that when he places him in her position understands the sorrow that she is undergoing. Nimayee continues his routine and begins to go to classes along with other pandits. Nimayee used to tease his elder students by saying that at this age and by studying various sashtras etc will lead to what gain. In the same class there was a person called Morari Gupta and he was fond of Nimayee due to his intelligence.

Morari Gupta was a physician due to his family lineage and often Nimayee would go to him and request him to read a grantha or a book. After it has been read and explained by Morari Gupta, Nimayee would analyze all the shortcomings and later would clarify by quoting various texts as to why these shortcomings are not really shortcomings! Often Nimayee would test Morari by saying the king of doctors I offer my salutations. And immediately follow it up by saying the brother of Yama I offer my salutations. He would say that Yama would only remove the life of a person but Morari would remove the patients money and his/her life as well!! Morari in the middle of the road could not either laugh or cry and supesses his thought and thanks Nimayee for the salutations.

Tirumangai Azhwar

Nimayee then proceeds to put his hands around Morari's shoulder and instantly he immerses himself in happiness forgetting those harsh comments of Nimayee. Nimayee's pranks continued and every day in the evening he would go to Ganges where the students would revise, analyze the days teachings. He would join a group a day and Nimayee would debate with them and would win those debates as well. Sometimes these debates would end in physical fist fights and Nimayee would not give up and would roll and roll fighting on the banks of Ganga..

RadheKrishna.. More of Gauranga leela to continue in the coming episodes.

3. Krishnam Vande Jagadhgurum - Extracts From The Holy Bhagawath Geetha

Radhekrishna.Hinduism is an ancient religion. All the things that have been spoken in Hindu religion can be applied in practical life. Although in 21st century till everyone can apply this in his or her daily life. The aim of Hindu religion is to provide total happiness to everyone at all times (or any point of time). The essence of Hinduism is told in "Bhagawad Gita". In order to realize what is said in Bhagawad Gita it is a compulsory (must) to have an unconditional faith on Bhagawad Gita. So many people have benefited in their lives because of the (by reading) shlokas of Bhagawad Gita. In Bhagawad Gita, Bhagawan Shri Krishna has told the way to lead a happy life in such an easy way that even a normal layman can easily understand. The slokas are so simple that anyone can understand and use it practically.
In the coming months we will enjoy the 12th Chapter of Gita and the devoution towards the Lord as explained by our  beloved Guruji.

Gurujiamma & Guruji - Krishnam Vande Jagathgurum

Some people are engrossed in the form of the Lord and they would visit the temple like Guruvayoor at least once a year to get peace. Some go to Tirupathi, Srirangam, Udipi once a year and this form of the Lord in the temples is also called Saguna Brahmam. The avatars of Rama, Krishna , the idols that we have at home and Saligrama are all classified as Saguna Brahamam. Saguna Brahmam in a nutshell means of a form that can be captured by our minds. Many devotees are meditating on a form of the Lord and eventually the idol or the form begins to speak with them, play with them and even direct them in the right path. Vasudeva and Devaki used to worship an idol and that is present in Guruvayoor and similarly Rukmini requested Krishna to generate a child form out of his body and worshipped the idol which is present in Udupi today. Even Rama along with Dasaratha used to do Saguna upasana or worship Lord Ranganatha. But some devotees meditate on the formless power of the Lord very much like the wind which cant be seen directly by our senses. Arjuna poses the question to Krishna as to which form of meditation on the form or the formless natures yields the quickest results.

We are ordinary people and are used to seeing and feeling things. If we hit a problem at home then we lock ourselves in the pooja room and pray to the idol or the photo of the Lord to rectiy it. Similarly if we hit upon our birthday or a marriage then we pray that we will perform a pooja or light a lamp in the temple. Just because an idol is present alone we are able to run to the temple and cry out in joy that we had a darshan of the Lord. If there is no form then there cannot be any decorations of the Lord. The absence of decoration will not again lead to Aarthi (sacred lamp). Because of the form alone we are able to offer eatables to the Lord. If the Lord had been just formless then there is no decoration, no worship, no bathing of the Lord etc. In islam they follow the formless nature and the Lord is protecting them as well. In Hinduism, predominantly we follow a form of the Lord and have described the forms of Krishna, Rama, Tirupathi Balaji, Srirangam Ranganatha. Some in Hinduism also follow the formless nature of the Lord and they accept that he is all pervading and nothing else.

We get numerous doubts in our life and the Lord only has the capacity to answer all our doubts. Arjuna in all humility with folded hands asks again what is superior - meditating on the form of the Lord or meditating on the formless nature of the Lord. Krishna smiles at Arjuna on his questions and because of the form of the Lord alone we are able to enjoy Him better. All the devas are anxiously waiting on what the Lord is going to say and how he is going to help decide..

Kulashekara Azhwaar

Perumal Thirumozhi was as a result of Kulasekara azhwar longing to see and enjoy Lord Ranganatha. The Thirumozhi also results from the bhakthi of the azhwar towards Rama and Krishna and he begins with his longing for Lord Ranganatha. Everyone of us have so much of longing for the worldly affairs but the longing and the love for the lord alone will help us achieve a good state.

Kulasekara azhwar enjoys Lord Ranganatha as Adisheshan in the first two pasurams or songs. Then he enjoys the Lord as enjoyed by Brahma. But the way Gopis enjoyed the Lord is considered to be supreme. This is because the not so intelligent Gopis were fully aware of the strengths of the Lord and believed that Krishna would save them. Of all the avataras, Krishna avatar is considered to be the best and one that can easily be enjoyed. This was followed by Kulasekara azhwar enjoying how Narada and Tumburu enjoy the Lord. He continues further and sees how the devotees are enjoying the Lord.

The devotees also never deviate from the prescibed duties as laid down in the vedas and as continued by the people of the highest order. It is a human life and the objective is to be happy and hence all these prescibed duties have to be adhered to without fail. Let us assume that we live for 100 years and half of them go away in sleep. There are also other activities like washing, bathing etc which takes away the years and if we want to remain happy for the rest of the remaining period, we should continuously chant.
Those are able to mediate on Ranganatha are those devotees as described by the azhwar- They control their senses, have no vices in their hearts, have conquered all their past karmas and ever absorbed in the thought of the Lord. For such devotees the only object of desire is Lord Ranganatha.

The devotees have become like a child and have forgotten everything else other than the Lord. The object of desire, Lord Ranganatha, the azhwar describes as resting on adishesha with his feet being watered by the holy Cauvery. The Lord is also shining and is a great illusionist as well. For atheist he never manifests other than a beautiful sculpture. But the Lord manifests to the devotees in a different form. Once Nanjeer asks his guruj Parasar Bhattar as to why Lord Ranganatha is sleeping between the two rivers. For that the guru Parasar says that the Lord knows that he will come and cry for help in Kaliyuga and hence he took this place much before in Tretha yuga itself! The azhwar proceeds to conclude that such a great Lord has to be seen by him and his eyes should be filled with tears of happiness. The objective of the eyes is not to cry when others scold or if we lose our posession but instead we should shed tears longing for the Lord. We should also experience the same state of happiness as experienced by Prahalada and Aandal. The azhwar longs for such a day when his eyes would experience such a happiness after seeing the Lord and
the devotees who enjoy the Lord. The azhwar also wishes that the Lord would also experience intense happiness on seeing him enjoy and which in turn would increase the tears and happiness in the eyes of Kulasekara azhwar.

RadheKrishna We will enjoy a new pasuram next month...

6. Samarpanam

parithraanaaya sadhoonaam vinasaya cha dhushkrutham

dharma sansthapanarthaya sambhavami yuge yuge

Bhagawan takes avatar in each and every yuga mainly to safeguard the bhaktas and then to destroy the rakshasaas who trouble his bhaktas. So Bhagawan comes to this bhoomi from paramapadham just for the sake of his bhaktas. Hence we come to know that bhaktas are very important to the Lord. Whenever Bhagawan comes to rescue his bhaktas, the other fellow people also reap the benefits.........Our guruji amma gives high respect to all the bhaktas. Hence our Vedhanaadham's every issue will be dedicated to one bhakta. This issue we are dedicating to the one of the great eternal devotees of the Lord namely - 'Sri Narayana Theertha'
