The Lord gives equally to everyone and the difference only lies with the receiving levels of the individuals. The Lord has created bitter things like bittergourd as He know it is good for our health. Whose fault is it if we spit it out thnking that these are bitter things. Also there are categories of people who will subject their body to torture by accepting only these bitter things in life!! We must also know what to accept from whom and it is not a good practice to accept anything from anyone. There is a saying that even if we are receive a tap on the head it should be from the fingers that have rings. What I would say is that if you receive a tap from the guru it will protect you for all the future births as well. So let us from today onwards keep chanting in our hearts 'Krishna Krishna Krishna Krishna Krishna'. What we must do for ailing persons is that we should do all the physical activities but need not tie ourselves to their ailments. We must pass on the message to those individuals is that GurujiAmma has requested you to do namajapam and there is nothing else that needs to be done.

Bharath is a very special land and contained within it are sacred places and rivers. Devotees born in this sacred Bharath ensure that they propagate bhakti in all corners of the country. This is the precise reason why the fragrance of bhakti can be felt all around our country.

Our beloved Guruji has a special reverence for Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and in the coming issues, we will enjoy his bhakthi and the path of devoution that he had set an example for us to follow.

In Kaliyuga the Lord takes the avatar of devotees to establish the truth of bhakthi in this world. Naradha in his bhakthi sutram also proclaims that the easiest of all paths is devoution to the Lord and can be maintained by all at all times. When the world thought that empitness was everything Sankara came and established that Brahamam is everything in this world and not 'ssonya' or emptiness. Then came Ramanuja and established that jeevathma way to enjoy the Brahamam or the Paramatma. Then Madhwacharya further eloborated the functions of Jeevathma and proclaimed that the only way for the Jeevathama to enjoy is to enjoy the Lord. During the 16th century the whole of India was suffering under the muslim rule. If we notice we will always find that whenever things take a turn for the worse then the Lord has always taken an avatar in this planet.

As a result of the foreign rule and the conversions that followed the hindus became more involved in rituals than in bhakthi. During the same time only different bhaktas were also present like Ramananda, Tukaram,Namadevar. In places where brahmins have forgotten their duties and where only body takes a forefront such a place is called 'Keekada Desam'. Mahabhartha describes some of these Keekada Desams (Anga , Vanga, Kalinga, Sourashtra, Maha) and the Vanga desam (Bengal) is one of them. It was the Lord's desire that He should proclaim his strength in Bengal. Krishna Leela is about proclaiming the things that we have discarded and make it shine like a jewel. The lion is very powerful and so we need to cast a net to catch it. But the mosquito is very small but to escape that we need to get into a net! Hence we must realise the potency of the Lord and must accept it. To proclaim Bengal the Lord decided to choose to take a birth and to purify the state. In Bengal there was a small place called Navadeepam where brahmins, pandits and devotees of the Lord lived in plenty. In that town lived a pious person called Jaganatha Mishra who was one of the nine siblings for his parents. What is sad today is that Brahmins themselves are not realising their glory of their race. Neelambara Chakravathi , a great scholar, got his daughter Sashi Devi married to Jaganatha mishra and the couple settled down in
Navadeepam.

Today Navadeepam is not there as it has been engulfed by Ganga. The surrounding villages are very much there. The couple were living a peaceful life and were chanting the names of SriHari. In this world namasankeertam or chanting the names of the Lord is a very wonderful thing. For namajapam there are no special rituals or rights and can be said at any point in time. This is because the nama itself puries everything. The couple were first blessed with a girl child who was very short lived and dies at a young age. After a few years the couple had another girl child who also died quite soon. All these incidents are to strengthen the hearts of the devotees. Similarly there were six other girl children that followed the first two and all of them died very soon after their births. The couple devotion to the Lord increased as is the case with Vasudevar and Devaki.

Then the couple had a ninth boy and named him Vishvaroopan . The boy grew up to this 9th year and was a very role model child. If we lose anything whatever it may be - money, child etc, remember that it has been gifted to the Lord and the Lord will pay back in a much huge way that we cant even imagine. The Lord has created everything so that it can be recycled - everything from blood to eyes if He has not created it that way we will not be able to reuse. When Vishvaroopan was in his 10th year, Sashi matha became pregnant again and she was to become the mother of the world.

Sashi matha begins to feel an unlimited amount of joy as a result of this pregnancy and the time was ripe for the Lord to take an avatar to establish the truth of namasangeerthanam and that of the events of Srimad Bagawadam. The only true and ever lasting thing in this world is namasangeerthanam and Sashi matha and Jaganatha Mishra begin to entrench themselves in chanting the names of the Lord. We must always cultivate the thought that this birth is to be spent for the Lord and then only we can enjoy true happiness irrespective of our status.The Lord is always looking for jewel couples and is ever ready to descend but the problem is that it is very hard to find such couples. Sashi matha begins to enjoy the form of the Lord in all her daily aspects during her pregnancy. Sashi matha completes her 9th month of pregnancy but she is yet to deliver the divine child. She nears the end of her 10th month but the child refuses to come out of her womb. Twelve months passed but Sashi math still did not deliver the child.te.
