There a number of colourful hybrid vegetables that have arrived inthe market today but they dont do any good to our body. Some of the
vegetables on the other hand are not so attractive but they are good to our body. We pay a good price to get these good looking vegetables and
this not required.
What is required is bhakthi. Rather than getting caught in maya we should surrender ourselves completely at the lotus feet of the Lord and that
alone will give us lasting peace. There are a category of people who will lament that they are not being paid back or recogonized for the deeds
that they have done. It is this expectation that is causing the misery and where there is expectation there is a fall awaiting. The Lord also in Gita
dicatates that we should do our duty without any expectations. This has to be understood properly. For example, if we grow rice we have to
harvest it at the right time.
Another example is that suppose you are either working under somebody or is responsible for managing a group of workers, you need to set the
expectations clearly. Again you need to understand what the managers also expect out of you. Then only the worker can win over in his employer.
Rather than looking at a irrelvant file the whole day , try to understand what the managers expect and work accordingly. Then only one can
progress quickly in his employment. Instead of learning this secret if we try to do something based on our ego or "I', it will certainly lead to one's
downfall.

Mahatmas - New Bhaktacharitras Each Month India
is the holy land with so many bhaktas (devotees). When we go through the Indian
history, there must be a bhakta in every period. That is the greatness of this
sacred land. Bhaktas are the role model for all the bonded souls. They enjoy
their life in a perfect way. Bhaktas surrender themselves to the Lotus feet of
Lord. By hearing or reading bhaktas' divine story, the bonded soul is
enlightened to come out of the worldwide bondages. Radhekrishna!
Sincere chanting and listening to the great stories of devotees will surely give
a peace of mind to everybody, even in this 21st century. So many people think
that listening to the devotee's stories is a waste of time and there is no
benefit at all. If somebody wants to realize the power of bagawan, first of all
they must listen bhaktha charithram [stories of devotees]. There are so many
advantages in listening to baktha charithram.
Bharath is a very special land and contained within it are sacred places and rivers. Devotees born in this sacred Bharath ensure that they propagate bhakti in all corners of the country. This is the precise reason why the fragrance of bhakti can be felt all around our country.
Guruji amma has a special reverence for Meera and in the coming issues, we will enjoy Meera's bhakthi and devoution
RadheKrishna
Soon after Meera said that he was the property of Giridhari, Krishna says to Meera to marry Rana without hesitations. Meera was resting on Krishna's shoulders and asks Him what he is talking about. Krishna in turn asks whether she did no listen to what He had said before. The Lord inturn says that He did not say not to do Krishna bhakthi but just requested her to marry Rana. Meera confronts Krishna by saying that He does not know how a lady would feel towards Krishna as he does not the experience even when the Lord took Mohini avatara.
Meera asks the Lord to guarantee that she would also get a life in brindavan one day and with that alone she is ready to marry Rana. The Lord
did not answer back but Meera assures that she cant severe the relationship with Giridhari. As how Rama was spellbound by the words of
Anjenaya, Krishna was spellbound by the words of Meera. The Lord hugged and kissed Meera and then disappeared from her view.
Meera realised that this was not just a dream and that she could feel the wetness of the kiss on her cheeks. She also realised that her body had
swelled a bit after that incident and this is the strength of Krishna aalinganam or the hug. Such body changes were also observed with the brother
in law of Thirumangai azhwar on noticing that he had managed to get the statue of Buddha. Similarly Hanuman also experienced a lift in his body
as soon as Lord Rama hugged him on his return from Srilanka. On the contrary Rukmini's body experienced a detoriation when Lord Krishna said that she was free to marry anybody else.Meera implored that she did a mistake by trying to take her life and such things can't be done once a person is caught in Krishna bhakthi. Meera marries Rana but refused to place a garland on his neck and instead did it for her Giridhari. People thought that her ego will automatically be killed once she begins to bear a child.
Rana decides to take Meera to have a dharshan of his family deity. Meera refuses to come despite Rana and his family warning her that she
would be cursed by the deity. Meera was firm in not worshipping anybody other than Krishna. She brought her Giridhari to the palace and begins
to dance and sing chanting Giridhari Giridhari...

Krishnam Vande Jagadhgurum - Extracts From The Holy Bhagawath Geetha
Radhekrishna.Hinduism
is an ancient religion. All the things that have been spoken in
Hindu religion can be applied in practical life. Although in 21st century till
everyone can apply this in his or her daily life. The aim of Hindu religion is
to provide total happiness to everyone at all times (or any point of time). The
essence of Hinduism is told in "Bhagawad Gita". In order to realize
what is said in Bhagawad Gita it is a compulsory (must) to have an unconditional
faith on Bhagawad Gita. So many people have benefited in their lives because of
the (by reading) shlokas of Bhagawad Gita. In Bhagawad Gita, Bhagawan Shri
Krishna has told the way to lead a happy life in such an easy way that even a
normal layman can easily understand. The slokas are so simple that anyone can
understand and use it practically.

Perumal Thirumozhi was as a result of Kulasekara azhwar longing to see and enjoy Lord Ranganatha. The Thirumozhi also results from the
bhakthi of the azhwar towards Rama and Krishna and he begins with his longing for Lord Ranganatha. Everyone of us have so much of longing
for the worldly affairs but the longing and the love for the lord alone will help us achieve a good state.
The Lord takes the form of ' Archaavathara Moorthi' or the form of a statue to ensure that all the jivas live happily. In the first two pasurams
Kulasekara azhwar enjoys Lord Ranganatha exactly as enjoyed by Adishesha. Then his attention turns towards Brahma and decides to enjoy the
Lord as enjoyed by brahma. Brahma has four heads and eight eyes and he is constantly chanting the four vedas using his four mouths. Brahma
also chants the names of the Lords using his mouths. Many people try to emulate this but the fault is that they would bring in their hearts differnt
forms based on the different names of the Lord. There is no pleasure in this and how many ever names that we chant we should always have one
form in our hearts.
Brahma is a very fortunate jeeva as nobody else was born out of the Lord's divine body. Kulasekara azhwar transforms himself as the person who
he thinks is enjoying the Lord and in this instance he transforms himself as Brahma.Like with pain and happiness, bhakthi has to be felt by the
individual to be described by him or her. Sine Brahma came directly from the Lord he is also called Ajan or Ayan in tamil. Brahma using his four
mouths is constantly chanting the glories and the names of the Lord. Using his four heads, Brahma enjoys the Lord's holy feet using one, navel
using the other and His divine face using the other. In the world where bhakthi is restricted to visiting temples inthe morning, Kulasekara azhwar
establishes the fact that we should transcend all this and enjoy the Lord as enjoyed the bhakthas.
Although Brahma is constantly creating the world , its objects and living beings, nothing affects him as he constantly is engaged in enjoying the
glories of the Lord. This is the secret of life and if we constantly engage ourselves in the thought of the Lord nothing will come and upset us. Also
whenever doubts haunt Brahma he would worship Lord Rangantha and get them clarified. Brahma while enjoying the Lord using his four heads
results in tears of joys in all his eight eyes. While enjoying the Lord with his heads and speaking of his glories using his mouths, Brahma also
uses his two hands in a folded fashion and worships the Lord in his heart. He also enjoys the Lord Rangantha his beautiful navel and his resting
pose using all his four heads. Kulasekara azhwars longs to worship the Lord's feet by offering flowers not as an individual but by associating
himself with all the bhakthas. The reason is that even if we are not worthy of anything , a simple association with satsangam or devotees would
ensure that we attain a good state in life.
A incident occured which indicates how much Lord Rangantha loves the association of devotees. Nampillai was the disciple of Najeeyar who
was in turn the disciple of Parasara bhattar. Once Nampillai was giving some discourses and the Lord had come out of the sanctum sanctorium
and was eagerly looking at both sides from the entrace. At that point another devotee Thiruvilakupittan who only duty was to ensure that the
temple lamps are lit properly arrived there. He saw the Lord and ordered him to go inside but the Lord said that he enjoyed the discourse of
Nampillai as well as the devotees who were present there to enjoy his discourse. Such is the power of satsangam or our association with true
devotees of the Lord..

Bhagawan takes avatar in each and every yuga mainly to safeguard the bhaktas and then to destroy the rakshasaas who trouble his bhaktas. So Bhagawan comes to this bhoomi from paramapadham just for the sake of his bhaktas. Hence we come to know that bhaktas are very important to the Lord. Whenever Bhagawan comes to rescue his bhaktas, the other fellow people also reap the benefits.........Our guruji amma gives high respect to all the bhaktas. Hence our Vedhanaadham's every issue will be dedicated to one bhakta. This issue we are dedicating to
the one of the great eternal devotees of the Lord namely - 'King Vasudevar'![]() |
