Poojyashree Shree Amma's
RadheKrishna - May this new year, we be blessed by Guruji Amma and Guruji to enjoy more and more of Satsangams. The Vedhnaadham team wishes everyone a happy 2011
I am expecting to bring a transformation, a positive transformation as a result of Satsangam. I want our India to come to the forefront of devoution again and there is no place for anyone else in this country. In olden days in Nalanda university people from all over the world would come and learn and even today the world is only learning from India. They learn from us and try to do bad things for us. If you are too intelligent then why are you employing our children from Chennai. This is because they know people from south of India are intelligent and will be satisfied with whatever they get. They know that these people will put in long hours in the night without hesitations.
Foreigners will not be able to stay put in one job and they will be on the move and this is also true of marriage (as our guruji points out ). Our idiots for the sake of money have lost their life at the tender age of 35. The first step towards devoution is to do continuously chant and the next step is to listen to satsangams. It is not true that all satsangams, done by various people, will yield the desired effect. This is because at times there will only be knowledge that gets churned out and this knowledge alone is not sufficient. We should also know our limits and rectify whenever we make mistakes. Hence please make it a point to come to satsangam and you will get to know how to proceed in the path of life. The only purpose of bhakthi is to realise this and not to get other results. Remember this truth that one guru and one matra is what we must follow. How can everyone be the same? The father, husband or child will never be the same. The father is required for the young age, husband during our youth and child during our old age.

India is the holy land with so many bhaktas (devotees). When we go through the Indian history, there must be a bhakta in every period. That is the greatness of this sacred land. Bhaktas are the role model for all the bonded souls. They enjoy their life in a perfect way. Bhaktas surrender themselves to the Lotus feet of Lord. By hearing or reading bhaktas' divine story, the bonded soul is enlightened to come out of the worldwide bondages.
RadheKrishna! Sincere chanting and listening to the great stories of devotees will surely give a peace of mind to everybody, even in this 21st century. So many people think that listening to the devotee's stories is a waste of time and there is no benefit at all. If somebody wants to realize the power of bagawan, first of all they must listen bhaktha charithram [stories of devotees]. There are so many advantages in listening to baktha charithram.
Bharath is a very special land and contained within it are sacred places and rivers. Devotees born in this sacred Bharath ensure that they propagate bhakti in all corners of the country. This is the precise reason why the fragrance of bhakti can be felt all around our country.
Our beloved Guruji has a special reverence for Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and in the coming issues, we will enjoy his bhakthi and the path of devoution that he had set an example for us to follow.
Nimayee with folded hands
requested the pandit to praise the ever pure Ganges who brings happiness to
everyone. The pandit begins to expound as if a flood would flow breaking the
banks of the river and everybody lost themselves in those words of the pandit.
this is because godess of learning Saraswathi had granted the pandit a boon
that she would be present whenever the pandit opens his tongue to speak. The
pandit thus recites one hundred slokas about Ganges and proceeds to ask how his
description was. Nimayee retorts and says that the pandit should pick five or
at the least one sloka and describe the goodness and the flaws.
Kesava Kashmiri says that there cannot be any flaw in his work and if Nimayee does not understand he is more than happy to explain the meanings. The pandit proceeds to ask Nimayee to pick a verse so that he could explain its beauty. Nimayee picks one around the middle ~56 of the 100 and requests the pandit to explain. the pandit was surprised that Nimayee could grasp the slokas that quickly and begins to explain the salient features of the verse. Then Nimayee requests to explain the flaws to which the pandit again says that there is not any and that Nimayee if he finds flaws can explain them.
Nimayee says that the pandit has repeated that Parvathi is the wife of Shiva two times and that a truth need not be repeated which is a flaw. The pandit was shocked and did not know what to say. Nimayee then proceeds to expound other flaws and the pandit blushed on hearing the flaws and at the thought of losing to a young lad. Nimayee then proceeds to say to the pandit that these are just minor ones and he should not worry too much and that he can proceed to go about doing his daily activities. The pandit leaves the banks with a heavy heart but that itself proved in the end to be his happiness.
RadheKrishna.. Gauranga leela to continue in the coming episodes.

RadheKrishna.Hinduism is an ancient religion. All the things that have been spoken in Hindu religion can be applied in practical life. Although in 21st century till everyone can apply this in his or her daily life. The aim of Hindu religion is to provide total happiness to everyone at all times (or any point of time). The essence of Hinduism is told in "Bhagawad Gita". In order to realize what is said in Bhagawad Gita it is a compulsory (must) to have an unconditional faith on Bhagawad Gita. So many people have benefited in their lives because of the (by reading) shlokas of Bhagawad Gita. In Bhagawad Gita, Bhagawan Shri Krishna has told the way to lead a happy life in such an easy way that even a normal layman can easily understand. The slokas are so simple that anyone can understand and use it practically. In the coming months we will enjoy the 12th Chapter of Gita and the devoution towards the Lord as explained by our beloved Guruji.
Even Thirumangai azhwar robbed to
build the Srirangam temple walls but since he did everything for the Lord, he
secured a place among the azhwars. The Lord says that those souls who do karmas
for him and also leave the fruits of actions to him, ever constantly meditating
on his form, the Lord ensures that he lifts them up from the ocean of bondage in
a comfortable manner. The biggest pain factor in the human life is death. No one
knows when the death can strike and it can do it at any moment in a strange
manner. Some saints depart early and some live a very long life as well. Hence
life without death is very pleasurable and the only way to do it is to reach the
abode of the Lord, Vaikunda. Everybody thinks that the demi gods live for ever
and that is not true.Even Brahma has a life span of about 100 years but his
length of a single day varies and that is the only difference.
The Lord alone lifts those who meditate on his form from the cycle of birth and death. The birth also is equally an unpleasant thing and the child lies in the womb of the mother for 10 long months. Some times the delivery is not normal and the child had to be pushed out forcefully. The child suffers immensly as a result of all these birth related activities. Hence the Lord declars that those who meditate on his form He ensures that they overcome this vicious birth death cycle. But some out of their own desire and to spread devoution towards the Lord, they are reborn again on this planet. Even Thondaradipodi azhwar declars that staying on this planet and shouting Kirshna Rama and Govinda is better than heaven or other planets!.

Perumal Thirumozhi was as a result of Kulasekara azhwar longing to see and enjoy Lord Ranganatha. The Thirumozhi also results from the bhakthi of the azhwar towards Rama and Krishna and he begins with his longing for Lord Ranganatha. Everyone of us have so much of longing for the worldly affairs but the longing and the love for the Lord alone will help us achieve a good state.
Kulasekara azhwar enjoys Lord Ranganatha as Adisheshan in the first two pasurams or songs. Then he enjoys the Lord as enjoyed by Brahma. But the way Gopis enjoyed the Lord is considered to be supreme. This is because the not so intelligent Gopis were fully aware of the strengths of the Lord and believed that Krishna would save them. Of all the avataras, Krishna avatar is considered to be the best and one that can easily be enjoyed. This was followed by Kulasekara azhwar enjoying how Narada and Tumburu enjoy the Lord. He continues further and sees how the devotees are enjoying the Lord and what items are safeguarding the Lord. Then the azhwar decides to mingle with the devotees and experience how it would be to be part of that group and enjoy the Lord.
The next day we should enjoy the Lord as Prahaladha, one day as Dhuruva and yet another day as Sishubala as well! In fact we are enjoying the Lord as Sishubala only as we are constantly blaming the Lord for all things. The tears of joy canít be explained and you should go and find this out from the devotees likr Prahaladha and Dhuruva. In that state we would not realise anything and it would be a great source of joy if we forget everything else. A child is always happy as it is not worried about anything or knows anything. While an adult suffers because he/she concludes that everything is known and the things that would beget unhappiness are alone in fact known to them.
We must wonder the devoution of the azhwar as whilst in Vanjikalam, his heart is filled with the Lord Ranganatha and together with all his devotees. He is overwhelmed by the devotees enjoying the Lord and longs for a day where he can also be one of the devotees and enjoy the Lord. The devotees are always enjoying the Lord at their hearts and are never satisfied with those enjoyments. They long to enjoy more and more each day. The word love is one that is associated with the Lord and has nothing to do with the humans as we seen in these days. A love that does not expect anything alone is true love and in present days there is not anyone with true love.
To truly enjoy the company of the devotees, we should also enjoy the same as done by those devotees. Even after we depart the company and leave home, the enjoyment inside should not subside. We should make our hearts a receptacle and store the Lord inside. The Lord will leave us if our ego surfaces or in ignorance. We should with such sincerity join the group of devotees so that the happiness last for ever and across all the future births as well. Saints like Sanatana Goswami and Roopa Goswami did meet Chaitanya only for a limited time but they recollected those moments each day and tears of joy would overflow from their eyes.

Bhagawan takes avatar in each and every yuga mainly to safeguard the bhaktas and then to destroy the rakshasaas who trouble his bhaktas. So Bhagawan comes to this bhoomi from paRamapadham just for the sake of his bhaktas. Hence we come to know that bhaktas are very important to the Lord. Whenever Bhagawan comes to rescue his bhaktas, the other fellow people also reap the benefits.........Our guruji amma gives high respect to all the bhaktas. Hence our Vedhanaadham's every issue will be dedicated to one bhakta. This issue we are dedicating to the one of the great eternal devotees of the Lord namely - 'Sage Margandeya'
The great sage was born to Mrikandu and Marudmati and saved by the Lord himself at the age of sixteen
The great soul was fortunate enough to enter the
mouth of the Lord during the prayala or the destruction of the world to find
that the entire cosmos rests on the Lord's body
The great guru who clarifies the various doubts of sage Jamini in Margandeya Purana which is regared as one of the 18 puranas
The great sage who describes to Pandavas the greatness of the Supreme Lord and instructs them to worship their Cousin Krishna who is none other than the Lord himself
The ultimate liberator bestowed by Lord Sri Krishna!
