1. The Divine Message - Message From Poojyashree Shree Amma - The Ultimate Liberator Bestowed By Lord Shri Krishna!

At times we lose our ability to think independently and it is only when our mind leaves the thought of the Lord. If we are absorbed in the thought of the Lord we can surely conclude that the Lord will never be incorrect. There are many personal likes and dislikes and we tend to listen to the foolish thoughts of others. There is one more reason for this and the elders should show the right way to the younger generation. While I was young both my grandmother and my dad used to advise us to say 'Hari' as soon as getting up and have a good view of the temple tower. They would also advise to say 'Hari' 'Hari' and leave the child in the cradle.

Now a days the lullabies that the mothers sing to them and when I get to hear them while walking on the streets would make me wonder to step in and intervene. The songs would be none other than some cinema songs with a loud beat. How will the mind of that child be in that scenario and at times we play the TV whilst the child is sleeping. Once that nonsense sounds get recorded in the minds of the child. It is a guarantee that if we bring up the child exposing it to good things, the child will grow up to a good human being.

Children are like a blank tape and whether good or bad that gets recorded is what gets replayed. A mother should be able to record only good things on that blank tape. This will also , during the parents old age , will repay all the good deeds back as well. If we teach the children to lie then it will grow up under the impression that lying is not a bad thing after all. And when the child goes to work and grows up , it will start lying to the parents and at that point it is of no use to repent. A major share of responsibility of bringing up a child rests with the mother. We should bring up changes in the upbringing of our children and especially girl children.

2. Mahatmas - New Bhaktacharitras Each Month

India is the holy land with so many bhaktas (devotees). When we go through the Indian history, there must be a bhakta in every period. That is the greatness of this sacred land. Bhaktas are the role model for all the bonded souls. They enjoy their life in a perfect way. Bhaktas surrender themselves to the Lotus feet of Lord. By hearing or reading bhaktas' divine story, the bonded soul is enlightened to come out of the worldwide bondages.

RadheKrishna! Sincere chanting and listening to the great stories of devotees will surely give a peace of mind to everybody, even in this 21st century. So many people think that listening to the devotee's stories is a waste of time and there is no benefit at all. If somebody wants to realize the power of bagawan, first of all they must listen bhaktha charithram [stories of devotees]. There are so many advantages in listening to baktha charithram.

Bharath is a very special land and contained within it are sacred places and rivers. Devotees born in this sacred Bharath ensure that they propagate bhakti in all corners of the country. This is the precise reason why the fragrance of bhakti can be felt all around our country.

Our beloved Guruji  has a special reverence for Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and in the coming issues, we will enjoy his bhakthi and the path of devoution that he had set an example for us to follow.

The pandits only job is to pull the learned people of the town in an arugment and win them over by their intellect. They are used to leading the life of a king with their own set of pupils, elephants etc. These pandits are very adept at arguments and would prove a truth to be baseless and will take a non true fact and prove it to be factual. One of the pandits was Kesava Kashmiri and everyone feared his arguments. He invitied anyone from Navdeep to have an argument with him and nobody came forward to his request. The pandit requested them to give in writing that the whole town has been defeated. The news spread to Nimayee and he said that the thing that a person is proud of itself will bring his downfall and the Lord will certainly ensue this.

Nimayee realised that since Kesava Kashmiri was a very elderly person, it would be inappropriate of him to go and win over in a public area and hence decide to teach him a lesson in private. He enquired about the habits of the pandit and decided to wait for him on the bank of the river Ganga. Nimayee was teaching logic, argument to his students on the banks of the river. A littler later Kesava Kashmiri came to the banks and someone rushed to Nimayee and said that he was the great pandit. Nimayee prostrated before the pandit and said that it was a blessing to have the pandit preside over his lectures.

Tirumangai Azhwar

Nimayee threw his shoulder garb and requested the pandit to take a seat among his students. Kesava requests Nimayee to continue the lessons and to that he replied that there cant be a person equal to the pandit and requests him to recite a verse or a prose that they could enjoy. The pandit was overjoyed to hear this and requests Nimayee to elicit the subject on which he should recite the verse

RadheKrishna.. Gauranga leela to continue in the coming episodes.

3. Krishnam Vande Jagadhgurum - Extracts From The Holy Bhagawath Geetha

Krishna.Hinduism is an ancient religion. All the things that have been spoken in Hindu religion can be applied in practical life. Although in 21st century till everyone can apply this in his or her daily life. The aim of Hindu religion is to provide total happiness to everyone at all times (or any point of time). The essence of Hinduism is told in "Bhagawad Gita". In order to realize what is said in Bhagawad Gita it is a compulsory (must) to have an unconditional faith on Bhagawad Gita. So many people have benefited in their lives because of the (by reading) shlokas of Bhagawad Gita. In Bhagawad Gita, Bhagawan Shri Krishna has told the way to lead a happy life in such an easy way that even a normal layman can easily understand. The slokas are so simple that anyone can understand and use it practically. In the coming months we will enjoy the 12th Chapter of Gita and the devoution towards the Lord as explained by our  beloved Guruji.

Gurujiamma & Guruji - Krishnam Vande Jagathgurum

There are many karmas or actions that we do in this world starting from getting up and brushing our teeth. All actions done using the body are all karmas. Because of the nature of the world that is a mix of goodness (Saatva), passion (Rajas) and lethargy (tamas) and all are actions are based on one of the three modes of material nature. All actions arising out of mind, senses, intellect and the material contact with the world should be dedicated to the Lord. The Lord instructs us to do the karmas for Him and to dedicate the fruits of those karmas also to Him. He is the hunger, the food and the digestive power in all of us.

Once the gopis cross the yamuna to meet and feed the sage vyasa on the other side of the bank. Some people say it was the sage durvaasa as well. Once the gopis gave the sage food, they decide to return to brindavan. It was already dark and the gopis feared that there wont be any boatman left to take them around. Seeing this the sage replied that they can tell Yamuna to give way. The gopis had their doubt and so the sage accompanied them to the bank and told yamuna to give way if he is fasting. The river also gave way and the gopis were surprised because they had just fed the sage who had a sumptuos meal a little while ago. The gopis were suprised and to their enquiry the sage said that the Lord alone resides as the digestive fire and hunger in his stomach and hence he neither ate nor digested any food!! We must do all our karmas or actions for the Lord.

Kulashekara Azhwaar

Perumal Thirumozhi was as a result of Kulasekara azhwar longing to see and enjoy Lord Ranganatha. The Thirumozhi also results from the bhakthi of the azhwar towards Rama and Krishna and he begins with his longing for Lord Ranganatha. Everyone of us have so much of longing for the worldly affairs but the longing and the love for the Lord alone will help us achieve a good state.

Kulasekara azhwar enjoys Lord Ranganatha as Adisheshan in the first two pasurams or songs. Then he enjoys the Lord as enjoyed by Brahma. But the way Gopis enjoyed the Lord is considered to be supreme. This is because the not so intelligent Gopis were fully aware of the strengths of the Lord and believed that Krishna would save them. Of all the avataras, Krishna avatar is considered to be the best and one that can easily be enjoyed. This was followed by Kulasekara azhwar enjoying how Narada and Tumburu enjoy the Lord. He continues further and sees how the devotees are enjoying the Lord and what items are safeguarding the Lord. Then the azhwar decides to mingle with the devotees and experience how it would be to be part of that group and enjoy the Lord.

When we begin to enjoy the Lord and share it with others, recount it the twenty four hour day will not prove to be sufficient. Every one says that India is a poor country but when seen via divine and devoutional eyes, you will realise how rich our country is and it is not being realised by you. While we are crying for simpler things in life, the same moment some on in India is shedding tears of joy due to the happiness in enjoying the Lord. It is always raining here in the form of tears of joy from the devotees of the Lord. In that state the body will tremble and you should realise and enjoy such states.

When such tears rollout and we forget ourselves, we will feel the lightness in our body and every nerve will echo Krishna and every hair folicle that we see will resemble Krishna. In this very second someone is enjoying this state and please dont lose out on such things. We are too attached to wordly objects and cry for those. Despite those cries, the attachment does not lead to happiness. When we cry for the Lord whether He appears in person or makes us cry for His presence, everything is so joyful. Even today in Brivandan people are enjoying hour by hour various leelas of Krishna and in Adyodhya people are enjoying Ramayana as such.

Such is the greatness of our country India and being present in this country we should all enjoy the Lord. We should always think of the grace of the Lord and melt in that. Every day we should wake up and pray that we should enjoy the Lord as enjoyed by Ramanua. At least if not in full, we will be able to enjoy a small share of the enjoyment that Ramanuja had in enjoying the Lord.

parithraanaaya sadhoonaam vinasaya cha dhushkrutham

dharma sansthapanarthaya sambhavami yuge yuge

Bhagawan takes avatar in each and every yuga mainly to safeguard the bhaktas and then to destroy the rakshasaas who trouble his bhaktas. So Bhagawan comes to this bhoomi from paRamapadham just for the sake of his bhaktas. Hence we come to know that bhaktas are very important to the Lord. Whenever Bhagawan comes to rescue his bhaktas, the other fellow people also reap the benefits.........Our guruji amma gives high respect to all the bhaktas. Hence our Vedhanaadham's every issue will be dedicated to one bhakta. This issue we are dedicating to the one of the great eternal devotees of the Lord namely - 'Sage Kardama'

The great sage was the mind born son of Brahma and did penance for a number of years on the banks of the river Saraswathi
The great soul was married to Devahuti, one of the three daughters of Swayambhu Manu

The great soul had nine daughters, who were married to various sages and a son who was none other than sage Kapila

The great sage who left the life of a householder , in later years,  meditated on the Lord and attained liberation
