1. The Divine Message - Message From Poojyashree Shree Amma - The Ultimate Liberator Bestowed By Lord Shri Krishna!

To attain a Guru and chant the names of the Lord is the easiest of all things in the world. These are not impossible things to do and what is wrong is going round the streets once a week chanting? We stay awake listening to cinema songs and above all as a demon TV has entered our homes. We have lost track of time watching TV.

Another issue is these mobile phones. Young adults lock themselves behind closed doors and speak on these cell phones and no one knows what they are up to. Where has the laziness gone then? Even at 4am when the cell rings these youth get up in style and begin to chat. They advise their parents not to enter the rooms as they are in the middle of a conversation and why is that these kids have to involve in such secret conversations?

A 7th grade student has a cell and parents have lost their control to instill good behaviour in the kids. These days government is run as a profit organization and not for human welfare. Hence it is up to you to choose what you need and develop a strong mind to attain them.

To attain this strength you need to realise God and to realise God you need to seek the help of your Guru and surrender to him. This is very important and the opportunity has come knocking and so don't allow it to go. Surrender to your guru and keep chanting Krishna Krishna and the rest of the things will come knocking at your doorsteps..

2. Mahatmas - New Bhaktacharitras Each Month

India is the holy land with so many bhaktas (devotees). When we go through the Indian history, there must be a bhakta in every period. That is the greatness of this sacred land. Bhaktas are the role model for all the bonded souls. They enjoy their life in a perfect way. Bhaktas surrender themselves to the Lotus feet of Lord. By hearing or reading bhaktas' divine story, the bonded soul is enlightened to come out of the worldwide bondages.

Radhekrishna! Sincere chanting and listening to the great stories of devotees will surely give a peace of mind to everybody, even in this 21st century. So many people think that listening to the devotee's stories is a waste of time and there is no benefit at all. If somebody wants to realize the power of bagawan, first of all they must listen bhaktha charithram [stories of devotees]. There are so many advantages in listening to baktha charithram.

Bharath is a very special land and contained within it are sacred places and rivers. Devotees born in this sacred Bharath ensure that they propagate bhakti in all corners of the country. This is the precise reason why the fragrance of bhakti can be felt all around our country.

Guruji amma has a special reverence for Meera and in the coming issues, we will enjoy Meera's bhakthi and devoution

Meera was dancing in joy when Rana's sister Udhaa came in and reminder her of the manners of kshatriya princess. Meera retorts as to why she should not dance and sing about Krishna. Namazhwar also questions the people who dont sing and dance in joy chanting the names of the Lord. Everybody inthe palace seconded udhaa's thoughts and so Meera promised to stop dancing. Meera came to the conclusion that this was all Giridhari's leela as he is present inside everyone. Meera decides not to argue and decides to take Krishna to task.

Meera decides to chant Giridhari in her heart and Udhaa came to the conclusion that Meera had decided to obey her commands. Meera is immersed in reading bagawadam, bhagavd Gita and in particular she spends most of her time reading rasakreeda and gopika geetham. Rana questions Meera as to why she is singing gopika geetham which came out of sadness. Meera replies that it alone can give happiness to everyone. Rana decides to enjoy her bhajans and one day decides to give a gift for her bhakthi. Meera requests Rana to come and join her and go on a pilgrimage enjoying various places.

Tirumangai Azhwar

As time passes Meera's bhajans began to spread beyond the palace walls. Meera and Rana begin their spiritual journey and visit Pandeerapura and hugs Panduranga. As days went by, Rana experiences a change of heart and begins to chant Giridhari. Udhaa is surprised by this transformation of Rana and thinks that Meera is behind all the changes. This is the power of satsangam and is very addictive. All other addictions only lead to disaster.

Rana begins to return to look after his princely duties and after a period of time asks Meera if she would be interested in getting something accomplished. Meera requests Rana to build a temple for Giridhari within the palace premises and tries to convert it to a brindavan. Rana agrees to this and builds a very beautiful temple. Meera hints at Giridhari that He is all powerful as He manages to build a beautiful temple for Himself. But Giridhari replies that it is no way compared to the temple in Meera's heart. Meera cries in joy and thanks the Lord.

3. Krishnam Vande Jagadhgurum - Extracts From The Holy Bhagawath Geetha

Radhekrishna.Hinduism is an ancient religion. All the things that have been spoken in Hindu religion can be applied in practical life. Although in 21st century till everyone can apply this in his or her daily life. The aim of Hindu religion is to provide total happiness to everyone at all times (or any point of time). The essence of Hinduism is told in "Bhagawad Gita". In order to realize what is said in Bhagawad Gita it is a compulsory (must) to have an unconditional faith on Bhagawad Gita. So many people have benefited in their lives because of the (by reading) shlokas of Bhagawad Gita. In Bhagawad Gita, Bhagawan Shri Krishna has told the way to lead a happy life in such an easy way that even a normal layman can easily understand. The slokas are so simple that anyone can understand and use it practically.

Kulashekara Azhwaar

Perumal Thirumozhi was as a result of Kulasekara azhwar longing to see and enjoy Lord Ranganatha. The Thirumozhi also results from the bhakthi of the azhwar towards Rama and Krishna and he begins with his longing for Lord Ranganatha. Everyone of us have so much of longing for the worldly affairs but the longing and the love for the lord alone will help us achieve a good state.

Kulasekara azhwar enjoys Lord Ranganatha as Adisheshan in the first two pasurams or songs. Then he enjoys the Lord as enjoyed by Brahma. But the way Gopis enjoyed the Lord is considered to be supreme. This is because the not so intelligent Gopis were fully aware of the strengths of the Lord and believed that Krishna would save them. Of all the avataras, Krishna avatar is considered to be the best and one that can easily be enjoyed.

Azhwar starts the song by indicating my Krishna. How can the Lord become personal when he is common to all of us?. Whilst in a group we should say our Lord and at all other times we should proclaim it as my Lord. Since Krishna killed the demon kesi he came to be known as 'Kesavan' and also the Lord has curly hair and hence he is also called Kesavan. Kalidas says that since the Lord is the father of both brahma and Siva he is also called Kesavan.

Kesi is the friend of Kamsa. Kamsa requests Kesi to go and kill Krishna and if we associate ourselves with bad people, grief is bound to come along with gory death. Kesi takes the form of a horse and comes fiercly to kill Krishna. The clouds inthe sky over Gokulam disappear at the sight of Kesi. Kesi searches for Krishna and we should also do the same instead of searching for something else.

We should not have any attachment or hatred towards anyone. Instead we should develop only attachment towards the Lord and search Him. Lord Krishna comes in the way of Kesi and is standing like the pose of Panduranga with His hands on His hips. Krishna decides to end the life of Kesi as he has been troubling His devotees. Kesi tries to kick the Lord with his hind legs and Krishna gets hold of the legs. There is a way to kill and we can't use a hammer to kill a mosquito. The Lord knows the best way to kill Kesi. Leave everything to the Lord as he know the best way to accomplish a task. Krishna throws Kesi with such a force that falls to the ground far away and everybody hailed Krishna. Kesi gets furious and comes charging again with force but Krishna is not disrupted by all this. This is because Krishna knows his strengths as well as that of Kesi's strengths. It is important to know the strength of the Lord and then we will not be disturbed by any event. Just a child believes that he canbe lifted by his mother we should have complete faith in the Lord that He will save us at all costs.

Kesi comes charging with his mouth open and Krishna is standing still. Suddenly Krishna thrusts his left hand into his mouth and all his teeth fell apart. Kesi decides to run away but Krishna hand is completely filling Kesi's mouth with His hands firmly holding Kesi's tongue. Kesi falls down dead on the ground as soon as Krishna pull his tongue out. The devas were very happy to see this and hailed Krishna.

6. Samarpanam

parithraanaaya sadhoonaam vinasaya cha dhushkrutham

dharma sansthapanarthaya sambhavami yuge yuge

Bhagawan takes avatar in each and every yuga mainly to safeguard the bhaktas and then to destroy the rakshasaas who trouble his bhaktas. So Bhagawan comes to this bhoomi from paramapadham just for the sake of his bhaktas. Hence we come to know that bhaktas are very important to the Lord. Whenever Bhagawan comes to rescue his bhaktas, the other fellow people also reap the benefits.........Our guruji amma gives high respect to all the bhaktas. Hence our Vedhanaadham's every issue will be dedicated to one bhakta. This issue we are dedicating to the one of the great eternal devotees of the Lord namely - 'Vibheeshana Azhwar'

The great devotee of the Lord was the younger brother of Ravana and was the minister of Lanka.

The great minister who adviced brother Ravana to handover Sita to Lord Rama and tried to avert the destruction of Lanka

The great soul who gave up every thing in Lanka and surrendered to the feet of Rama. This incident is famously known as 'Vibheeshana Saranagathi'

The great devotee who was blessed to be advised by Rama on the necessary tools for human beings to complete the voyage of life safely and to attain spiritual progress and mental purification. This conversation came to be known as 'Vibheeshana Gita'

The great bhaktha who was fortunate enough to have the idol of Lord Ranganatha as a departing gift from Lord Rama.
