Special Divine Message - Message From Holy consort of our divine Shree Poojyashree Shree Amma - our Gurujiappa - Shri Gopalakrishnan
Man Lives
"Vedhanadham" enters the threshold of third year now. I offer my humble share of thoughts. Man lives. What his aims in life?
The learned ones analyzes the sorrows that befalls in life and then surrender himself to Bhagavan Sri Krishna as a solace and leads a happy life.
The uneducated ones whenever needed surrender himself to Lord and leads a happy life. The basic reason for this is endurance(Patience).
Scientific knowledge grows to the educated ones and he loses patience. So he delays his devotion to God.
Swadese Pujyathe Raja
Vidhwan Sarvathra Pujyathe
The knowledgeable one gets / attains all good characters even before the completion of his Gurukhulavasam including devotion to God.
So he has Patience, smile, inner happiness, harmony with God naturally.
But, the uneducated ones, being patience, falls prey to the cheating. He is saved at the appropriate time because of his prayer to God's mercy.
Educated ones having fully associate themselves to Science, postpone the definitive
of worldly pleasures and spiritual pursuits. When God's Anughraham is bestowed this defect is rectified and the days of enjoying the life begins.
Whose lotus feet of God you will surrender?
The ONE that which shines as a beacon light - and protects you - that one you have to hold and live happily for long.
Each God has got some special powers. Bhagavan Krishna has the embodiment of all good characters (Guna's).
Surrender unto Lord Radhekrishna's Lotus feet to live with all prosperity and peace. That will give you patience and
fulfill all your needs.
The 'Radhekrishna Sathsang' is engaged without much publicity, in the propagation of Bhakthi to the believers and non - believers of Lord Krishna Bhagavan.
'Nama Sankeerthanam' is condcted on every Saturday between 11AM to 12 NOON. Do attend the Bhajan. Hear theUpanyasam

Radhekrishna.Vedhanaadham is a boon for the entire mankind as it propagates gurujiamma's true wholesome power to the universe. Lord's mightiness is spread out by bhaktaas and it is a prime duty to disseminate their views and thoughts.
Often life is seems terrible agony, many people are boggled by it as though life is a question mark or an exclamation mark. Hence to prove that life is a boon bestowed by Lord to the confused jeevatmaas, by Lord's grace and Poojyashri Shri Amma's krupa kataaksham (merciful glance) Vedhanaadham was originated on its own and is nobody's brainchild in particular. Nobody has the power to generate or create anything pertaining to the Lord, except the Lord Himself.
Vedhanaadham is our experience. Vedhanaadham is our devotees experience. Vedhanaadham is the sound desperately sought by the soul. The sound / vibration which offers immense pleasure and happiness to the jeevaatma. That sound / vibration is conveyed in the form of words through Vedhanaadham for our bliss.
Vedhanaadham is the first born child of Radhekrishna Satsangam. Always the elder child bears more responsibility than the others. Radhekrishna Satsangam's other magazines and the magazines which are to yet to be launched in future are the offsprings of Vedhanaadham.
Just like the banyan tree widely spreading because of the many aerial roots that descend from the branches and develop into additional trunks, Krishnavedham, Vedharahasyam, Vedhaamrit, etc are the offshoots of Vedhanaadham.
Vedhanaadham is like the foundation for any structure which is very significant and without which the structure can neither stand nor be beautiful! Vedhanaadham spreads out Radhekrishna Satsangam's principles, bhakta's divine experiences, bhagwat vaibhavams, Hindu dharma's strength etc and is a mighty tool for propagating it.
Vedhanaadham is the foundation of billions of good things and also in future will bear much more vital things. Always there is a special soft corner for the 1st child, similarly Radhekrishna Satsangam may have infinite number of publishings in future but Vedhanaadham will always be special and important. No one can change it or deny its importance!
Vedhanaadham is God's offspring and all the bhaktas contribute little by little to it but by doing so they are not developing or upbringing it instead they are experiencing supreme bliss out of this divine service. This divine magazine destroys bhakta's taapa trayam (great sufferings) of the bhaktas, with is the blessing of our Gurujiamma.
Only to banish our miseries Vedhanaadham is published every month. The sole purpose of Vedhanaadham's birth is to get rid off all the sufferings of the universe and to establish Sanatana Hindu dharma by Lord Krishna's will.
There is an glorious opportunity for all to render divine service (kaingaryam) i.e. for those who compose the articles, who translates them, who reads and enjoys them and reads and implements them in their life. Therefore to be able to continue doing similar divine service, in all our births, let us pray to the Lord and Gurujiamma's abundant blessings. Let the presence of all highly commendable bhaktas be felt with us forever! Radhekrishna...Radhekrishna...Radhekrishna.....

Listen to Guruji's divine message in His own divine voice! (in Tamil)
Radhekrishna. Humans today are too busy and engrossed in accumulating wealth, when they don't realise that they are aging and are going closer to the grave as each day passes. Most of the people's mentality is such that today we have 99 Rs and so strive, earn and save one more Re to make it 100 Rs..........only such is the human calculation.
After buying a plot of land, man craves and desires acquiring another piece of land without realizing that his life is going by, trading our happiness for accumulating such worldly material things, as if after acquiring it they will attain astonishing peace of mind! The urge to amass wealth is insatiable. No matter how much one owns he still avidly craves for more.
The tendency is always to compare with others, not with the less wealthy ones and but with the one who possesses more than us keep on continuing the rat race. Such humans don't really quite know how and what their kids are doing, matters of the household, what is going on around in their family, also doesn't realize his own requirements like hunger, sleep and happiness. They trade in their bodily needs and happiness in the pursuit of the rat race.
But finally one fine day they realize, turn back and see that they are longer young, and their body is no longer fit, their hair has turned gray, eyesight diminishes, have digestive troubles and are unable to eat whatever they feel like. Then what is the result? Just pure unhappiness and sorrow!

All seek happiness and mistake thinking as to 'more money = more happiness' and so gets stuck up in the race. Often one has the notion that after buying a house of his own or by maintaining social relations, attending social meetings and gatherings such as weddings and parties or if they hold a very high post / position in the society, one can be happy. But does such things have any guarantee that it will last forever? One may be a minister but is there any assurance that his cadre is going to be the same for ever?
Even for an highly educated / qualified person is it possible to know each and everything under the sun? Again there is sum unhappiness in it. When one casually remarks a child saying something and if this highly educated person doesn't understand its meaning, his ego is hurt and is sad about it.So ultimately what this person has achieved?
The true purpose of the Lord sending us all to the 'Bhooloka' (earth) was to experience only bliss. But this seems quite wrong incase of humans, but if we note incase of all animals it is true! From the ancient evolution days till now the dog is the same and has unchanged. For instance, a dog keeps loitering around, eats whatever food he finds, sleeps whenever it wants to and whenever it has an urge to mate it does it, and has young ones. It doesn't plan anything, but this is where humans go wrong and get into unnecessary worries, sorrow and troubles.
Only humans have sixth sense, but are unfortunately caught into the worldly things only as Maaya has engulfed them. Whatever a man thinks will give him happiness such things never gives him the true happiness.
Simple things like cooking good homely food, sit and eat contentedly as we feel hungry - may sound too ordinary, but that has quite become a thing of past. Because one has no time to sit and eat peacefully as one has to run and chase about so that they don't miss their train, bus or flight. So they may try carrying a parcel of food thinking will have during the journey or may be after, but what is the point? One strives and works for food and has no time for it!
Then what is the use of the human life wherein one can't eat, sleep and live peacefully? Everything has been traded in for worldly material things. Doing such things and losing track of the main prupose of the human life and living life in discontent!
Again people get into sorrow by getting overly attached to the worldly bonds / relations for instance with son, daughter in law, grandson, granddaughter etc and worrying for them unnecessarily. Why should one worry for others. One should be able to eat food when hungry or be able to have a cup of coffee when one feels like, or be able to lie down when one feels like.
At many places we get to hear comments like the aged lady is resting while my poor daughter miserably slogs the entire day at home. Hearing such comments the old feel helpless and are in a sorry state. So everything has become a matter of trade, one's peace, comfort, etc.
God created us to be happy and to enjoy our life. This truth one will be able to realize only by chanting and by attending satsangs ( be in the company of holy people).
It can be realized only by satsangs and naamajapam but not by merely following customs like going to temple and lighting lemon lamps, or by taking head bath and sweeping the premises of the temple and even the priest can't enlighten us as he too is too busy worrying for his family. Though he may talk sweetly using honey coated tongue but try approaching them for sum help say like financial help even for a meager sum of Rs 10/- he will turn his back on us, as he is also busy working for his family only.
So only by naamajapam and satsangs can one attain everything and can live happily, contentedly and peacefully. Hence all should regularly attend and listen to satsangs wholeheartedly!

Listen to Amma's divine message in Her own voice! (in Tamil)
It
is fortunate to listen and be blessed to Guruji Ammas Sathsangam through
phone irrespective of ones domicile in any nook and corner of this universe
and many more souls should yearn to enjoy this bliss! Since people are easily
tempted to the uncivilized activities and are trapped in the web of movies,
television programmes and some unpleasant magazines, more and more Sathsangams
should be encouraged and attended to keep oneself engaged in the union of the
Almighty, which is the only eternal truth. Just as hills are made of hard stones
alone and its originality cannot be replaced, likewise Bhagawaan is the eternal
truth and at a stage each one realizes this truth. Its no compulsion and even
those who have disassociated will realize this truth. Such is the greatness of
Bhakthi and Naamasankeerthana. Since, Naamasankeerthana is the Kali Yuga Dharma,
there is no match to it. Radhekrishna!

India is the holy land with so many bhaktas (devotees). When we go through the Indian history, there must be a bhakta in every period. That is the greatness of this sacred land. Bhaktas are the role model for all the bonded souls. They enjoy their life in a perfect way. Bhaktas surrender themselves to the Lotus feet of Lord. By hearing or reading bhaktas' divine story, the bonded soul is enlightened to come out of the worldwide bondages.
Radhekrishna! Sincere chanting and listening to the great stories of devotees will surely give a peace of mind to everybody, even in this 21st century. So many people think that listening to the devotee's stories is a waste of time and there is no benefit at all. If somebody wants to realize the power of bagawan, first of all they must listen bhaktha charithram [stories of devotees]. There are so many advantages in listening to baktha charithram.
Radhekrishna. The ultimate goal and use of this human life lies only in experiencing and attaining the Lord. But we, the ignorant humans due to our false pride and ego, desires, prarabdha karmas, tend to forget Bhagwaan, one who is the only giver and true source of pure bliss and happiness and instead we chase the outward worldly pleasures and happiness, which is not the real happiness!
But the Lord doesn't distance us for our ignorance, thinking 'let bygones be bygones', but instead strives to save such lives who loiter in worldly miseries and cheat themselves thinking that the worldly happiness is real bliss. Lord is such an ocean of mercy! He uplifts every jeevatma in different appropriate ways apt for each and enables them to experience a better life full of bliss. These virtues of Lord, i.e. grace, kindness and mercy are truly boons to all mankind.
Because of Lord's boundless mercy and kindness only, Thirumangai Mannan was fortunate enough to be able to rob the divine couple, but he never realized or suspected that it was the Supreme Lord and His Consort in front of him, posing as Brahmin couple. He demanded them to surrender all the jewels they had, as he collected each ornaments they handed over into a piece of cloth. When he tried to lift the sack of jewels bundled in the piece of cloth, it wouldn't even budge. He tried moving it with all his might and strength, but to his utter dismay! While he was attempting to lift the bundle, the brahmin couple exchanged glances with smile on their faces.
Thirumangai Mannan found it very fishy and suspected the Brahmin of having cast a spell / magic due to which he was unable to move the sack.He got furious and questioned the Lord ' Have you cast any spell on this bundle?' for which the Lord replied 'Yes'. Hearing this Thirumangai Mannan became wild and with a fierce look in his eyes, he placed the sword on the Lord's neck, threatening and demanding the mantra to reverse the spell. Bhagwan was stunned, Piraatti was shocked, as the thirty three crore Devaas were surprised by witnessing this divine play.
As such its very difficult to obtain the darshan or just to get close to the Lord, such experience not many fortunate get to see the Lord, whereas a robber Thirumangai Mannan had the fortune of meeting Bhagwan in persons. Just to think about or to see or to touch the Lord has become very very very rare, in this Kaliyug, being its tendency.
Thirumangai Mannan had threatened the divine couple for whose darshan many mahatmas are pining. He had threatened the Lord who instills fear in all and also help overcome the same. Seeing whom the thirty three crore devas tremble with fear!!! Radhekrishna! that Lord was being threatened by a robber Thirumangai Mannan. With whose mere eye movements the entire universe is being created, protected and destroyed, such a mighty Lord was threatened by the sword of Thirumangai Mannan. Paramapada's nityasooris (celestial bodies) were beaming with joy and happiness as they were seeing this divine play. Bhagwan Himself was enjoying this, Radhekrishna!
The Lord expects this kind of rightfulness and sense of freedom from every jeevaatma. This sense of belongingness that he/she is mine Bhagwan enjoys! This rightfulness with Lord alone is needed and it confers all the benevolence.
With fury in his eyes, Thirumangai Mannan had placed the sword on the Lord's throat, whereas Lord was smiling sweetly, the divine consort on looking this leela (divine play) of Bhagawan and His bhaktaas, their love and rightfulness for each other, all were happy! Also Thirumangai Mannan 's accomplice were happy and proud of their leader's expertise and bravado! They all were unknown to the fact that the Brahmin was the Supreme Lord and were angry with Him as they thought the Brahmin had cast a spell which wouldn't permit them to take away their looted fortune! Radhekrishna.
When Thirumangai Mannan tightened his grip on the sword placed on Lord's neck, God replied 'this is the mantra', saying that he whispered into Thirumangai Mannan 's right ear the 'Thirumantram', i.e. the 'ashtAkshAram' mantram - 'Om Namo Narayana'.

This eight lettered mantra is said to have the powers to destroy all kinds of sins, Many mahatmaas attained their higher spiritual status / mahatmyam only after having being initiated with this mantra. So many acharyas have uplifted many sinners by initiating them with this mantra and the latter in turn attained the Lord in due course. This invaluable precious mantra helps us to cross the mundane worldly oceans, that great this mantra is! So needless to say those who chant this mantra attain bliss and happiness and there's not an iota of doubt in it!
This mantra bestows one all kinds of wealth and fortune, i.e. worldly and spiritual and also the 'Aatmaanubhavam kaivalyam', i.e. makes one aware that he/she is the soul and not the physical body. Whatever one aspires or desires for all that is also conferred by this mantra.
Such a remarkable mantra was initiated into Thirumangai Mannan by Bhagwan Himself. How fortunate, Bhagwan's mantra being initiated in Thirumangai Mannan 's ears by Bhagwan Himself!!! Hearing this Thirumangai Mannan got goose pimples all over his body. He got indescribable blissful happiness! His sins, agyaana were destroyed. His nyaana eye (third eye) was opened using which he could enjoy and admire the beautiful form of the Lord along with His consort! He enjoyed the red colored divine lotus eyes, lotus hands and the lotus feet. He kept crying for their daya (mercy) on his lowly self. He was shivering with tremendous love and bhakti for the Lord! His eyes were brimmed with tears at their mercy to bless him despite his shortcomings and negative qualities! Four of Thirumangai Mannan 's accomplice and all the thirty three crore devas were thrilled witnessing this!
Such incidences take place in this Kaliyug at mystic and divine India and when we believe in these incidences, we ourselves are transformed to mahaatmas.Until then let us meditate on this divine darshan that Thirumangai Mannan experienced, to make our lives more blissful and meaningful. Just to transform our lives and to make it more blissful, only by the grace of Lord and Amma each issue of Vedhanaadham is being published! Radhekrishna...Radhekrishna...Radhekrishna...

Krishnam Vande Jagadhgurum - Extracts From The Holy Bhagawath Geetha
Radhekrishna.Hinduism
is an ancient religion. All the things that have been spoken in
Hindu religion can be applied in practical life. Although in 21st century till
everyone can apply this in his or her daily life. The aim of Hindu religion is
to provide total happiness to everyone at all times (or any point of time). The
essence of Hinduism is told in "Bhagawad Gita". In order to realize
what is said in Bhagawad Gita it is a compulsory (must) to have an unconditional
faith on Bhagawad Gita. So many people have benefited in their lives because of
the (by reading) shlokas of Bhagawad Gita. In Bhagawad Gita, Bhagawan Shri
Krishna has told the way to lead a happy life in such an easy way that even a
normal layman can easily understand. The slokas are so simple that anyone can
understand and use it practically.

"ViththuvakkOttu ammaa ! nee vENdaayE aayidinum
matRRu aarum patRRu ilEn enRu avanaith thaaL nayanthu
(Perumaal Thirumozhi - 697/1000/4000)
Meaning
O, Vithuvakkottu amma,
even if you reject me, i will not seek anyone else for protecting me, but will
cling at Your sacred Lotus feet. Also those who fall at the Thiruvadigal of the
Bhagwaan reciting the ten paasurams /songs explained by the spear bearing ruler,
namely Kulasekara Azhwar will never land in Hell (narakam)
Explanation
Each and every word has its relevant meaning.Hence our Hindu Sanatana Dharma tells us to use them appropriately and also to speak only but the truth.Hence we get to see the mantra in Veda called 'Satyam Vadha', which means in all circumstances we get peace of mind when we speak only but the truth! In this universe the only eternal truth is 'Bhagawan'. Hence the words that we use to talk should be about Bhagawan only. During the cosmic flood (Pralaya) each and everything is destroyed and everybody right from the Brahmadeva to the tiny ant lose their bodies and merge into the Lotus emerging from the umbilicus of the Supreme Lord. Hence only the Lord and his body is the truth and the eternal truth! Hence every word that a human utters if pertaining to God gives him immense pleasure. But in most circumstances ordinary householders / samsaaris are unable to talk about the Lord always, they are too engrossed in the worldly things with crores of confusions, tensions and problems. Hence are unable to admire and praise the God's bountiful mercy and grace. Even if one is unable to utter about the Lord always, hearing such paasurams / words uttered by great devotees, we attain peace and there's not an iota of doubt in it.
A pupil, who doesn't know anything but when he grasps and learns whatever is being taught by his / her teacher passes the exams and is promoted to higher class. Similarly when common people keep on uttering the songs / words uttered by such great mahatmas like Kulasekara Azhwar are blessed with their bhakti.Only when we keep repeating it, we will realize its value and importance.
Great epics like Srimad Ramayana, Mahabharata, BhAgwadam, Narayaneeyam, etc such holy books are all about the Lord hence there is no end to them and hence are eternal! Kulasekara Azhwar's paasuram explains beautifully the truth and the most imp eternal relationship of the jeevaatma with the paramaatma. The ten paasurams about the the presiding deity who graces the divya desam of VittuvakOttu are very beautiful and moving. In each of his song using worldly instances and examples he reiterates that he would not separate from the mighty Lord.
Kulasekara Azhwar gives amazing examples like the relationship and the firm faith and believe between an infant and its mother, chaste woman and her disloyal husband, patient and the surgeon and states that he has similar faith and trust in his Lord. The tenth paasuram is the 'phalashruti', which means merits / benefits of recitation of the paasurams. Like these days as we say if we pursue BA, MCom or engineering can have such and such resulting career, etc. Similarly if we hear and listen about such things about the Lord what benefit we reap.Such mahatmaas like Kulasekara Azhwar explain and write such phalashruti just because of the true love and concern they have for other common ignorant people who are unaware about bhakti and not for earning any fame or accolade for their paasurams.
Thus Kulasekara Azhwar explains in this paasuram 'Hey VittuvakOttu Amma, even if you reject / disown me i would not seek refuge from others. You are my sole refuge and will cling to your sacred lotus feet.' Kulasekara Azhwar had great bhakti and intense faith that even if lord refuses to accept him, he refuses to go away! Kulasekara Azhwar had a vel (spear) as he was a king and so he states that this spear bearing Kulasekara Azhwar when rejected by God Himself wouldn't go away! He says that those who chant these 10 songs, would never end up in Hell (naraka).
But human tendency is to suspect and we doubt as to how it is true. We can realize the importance of it when we keep reciting them. If we concentrate and meditate on the message of the paasuram and develop such an intense faith and devotion, that our life will be full of bliss and all our sorrows and miseries will be banished. We can feel God's presence with us constantly. With whom God is always present, such people are always happy and cannot commit any sin. And in turn those who don't commit any sin can never enter Hell. Hence Kulasekara Azhwar hints that who recite the paasurams will never have any evil thoughts, bad intensions and hence no entry in hell. Such is the phalashruti paasuram.
Hence one should keep on reading all the ten paasurams by Kulasekara Azhwar and follow the path laid by Him, which we have explained in detail over the past issues of Vedhanaadham and engage oneself into such divine acts. In turn we would be protected from committing sins and won't enter hell and attain God and that only serves the true purpose of explaining the paasurams in the previous issues of Vedhanaadham! Once a customer had booked a vehicle for sum urgent matter / emergency to be attended, which i had to oblige. Everything was ready but unfortunately at the very last moment our driver of the vehicle went missing, he couldn't be traced anywhere. It was about time to send the vehicle to our customer, so i started looking out for our driver frantically. I was anxious, but my search yielded no result. So as i returned to my office, my father, who also works with me at our Travels suggested that he would look out for him. He also looked out but to no avail! But the customer who had booked the vehicle had sum emergency so he was making calls after calls contacting us about the whereabouts of the vehicle.
This was a delicate situation for me, so i attempted arranging for a substitute vehicle at close by travels. But to no avail as they too didn't have any vehicle free to be rented out. Also i couldn't reject the customer who had booked for the vehicle as he was a regular patron of our travels. I was getting worried and started thinking about Amma. Then i started chanting 'Radhekrishna...Radhekrishna', which Amma says to do, while i was riding my bike and soon to my pleasant surprise I spotted our driver passing by. I was at a loss of understanding.....was this Lord's grace or just the power of Amma's naamajabam. I was profoundly dumbstruck and was deeply impressed. I immediately arranged to send our driver with our vehicle to the customer and thus a major problem was solved! Radhekrishna.
Another similar incidence related to travels only i wish to add ( i apologize as my experience is all about travels only as that being my line of work) Once a customer had booked a vehicle, but suddenly it had developed a fault in it. The faulty spare part which would have to be replaced would cost only Rs 40/- but if i ignored the servicing and replacing it the resulting damage was estimated to be Rs 40,000/-
The oil pipe was severed and hence i couldn't send that vehicle to the customer so i arranged to send sum other vehicle to the client. I was thinking about the loss, also that being a SUnday there was no mechanic to repair and replace it. I checked at the garage, but it was closed but the spare parts stores was opened so managed to buy the same.
Meanwhile a friend came on a social visit, whom i mentioned about the loss...he mentioned that there was a mechanic available at a particular place. I replied that i had tried but no one was available, but suddenly i thought why not try again? So i went to look out for the mechanic, chanting ' Radhekrishna...radhekrishna', all along and by Amma's grace the mechanic was there!! Got the tube changed and no sooner when i reached my office back, that very same vehicle got booked by sum other client. What a timely repair! So i didn't loose business...Radhekrishna!
Since then i have been regularly chanting and aim to do it through out my life. I have been getting many more such miraculous experiences eversince.Radhekrishna!
